Jennifer Lopez, 52, surprised and delighted fans this week by bringing out a very special performer to the stage.
The entertainer performed with her 14-year-old daughter, Emme Muñiz, at the annual Los Angeles Dance Foundation’s Blue Diamond Gala.
The event took place at Dodger Stadium in California. Lopez, as always, delivered a high-energy show by performing some of her hits.
Ben Affleck‘s fiancée flaunted her stunning figure in an aqua bra and pants ensemble.

As for the teenager, she looked cool and chic in hot pink shorts and a matching button-down shirt and completed the look with a black cap.
Videos posted to Twitter and TikTok showed the pair belting out Christina Perri‘s “A Thousand Years.”
Jennifer Lopez’s young duet partner also delivered a stellar performance on the diva’s hit song “Get Loud,” with a rainbow-colored microphone.
Before the pop superstar brought Emme to the stage, she revealed to the audience and the world that her child uses pronouns they/them.

A proud and emotional Jennifer Lopez said: “The last time we performed together was in a big stadium like this, and I ask them to sing with me all the time, and they won’t. So this is a very special occasion. They are very, very busy. Booked. And pricey. They cost me when they come out. But they’re worth every single penny because they’re my favorite duet partner of all time. So if you will indulge me.”
At the end of the performance, Jennifer Lopez said this about her child: “Give it up for my baby.”
The last time the mother and child performed together was at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2020, where Emme left millions in awe with her powerful yet angelic voice.
JLo has also been booked and busy — she recently premiered her Netflix documentary, Halftime, where she gave fans an unprecedented and intimate look at her career as an artist who has been in the music and entertainment scene for over two decades.

As Lopez prepared for her performance at the Super Bowl in 2020, she reflected on her career and spoke about the barrage of racist insults she has been hit with as she worked her way to the top of the ladder.
The singer, actor, and dancer said she was often mocked for being a Latina with a big as* and added: “It was hard when you think people think you’re a joke like you’re a punch line. There were many times when I was like, ‘I think I’m just going to quit.’ I had to really figure out who I was and believe in that and not believe anything else.”
The performer has never been better in the entertainment game.
