Livid Queen Elizabeth Might Have Picked A Date For Her Abdication

Queen Elizabeth Succession Abdication Next Year

Many royal experts believe that Queen Elizabeth II is stunned by all the year 2020 has brought to her country and the rest of the world.

Despite seeing two world wars, the fall and rise of some high-profile politicians, and many dramatic changes in society, no one was prepared for the havoc and carnage caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The novel virus has taken lives and rattled the economies of the richest countries on earth, and killed century-old beliefs and traditions.

At the age of 94, even the fierce Queen of England has been forced to grapple with the truth that she needs to put her health first and will not be taking part in many official duties.

The pandemic has pushed the Queen to make modifications that no one could have imagined in her decades-long reign. It has been made official that her majesty will not be going back to Buckingham Palace anytime soon.

All the changes and complex workload has led to some serious thinking and decision making for the Queen.

In a new documentary, The Queen and Charles – Mother and Son, royal expert Angela Levin explained that the Queen has settled on the year 2021 to renounce the throne, more specifically, she is eyeing her 95th birthday for her abdication.

Royal commentator Stephen Greif revealed: “Some royal experts think that the Queen’s age may eventually force her to step down from her day to day duties as monarch. Charles would become Prince Regent, King in all but name.”

Ms. Levin said while she has a date in mind, the Queen might surprise everyone. Levin added: “If the monarch is incapable of doing her duties, then the heir can take over and do all the duties the monarch can’t do. There were rumors that the Queen might stand down when she’s 95 – but actually, she seems so strong and confident she might just carry on.”

In 2019, the Queen took part in 300 engagements, but because of the health crisis, she has been forced to let her family take the reign.

Royal biographer Andrew Morton told The Sun on the matter: “It’s terribly sad but I can’t see how the Queen can resume her usual job. The COVID-19 virus isn’t going away soon and will be with us for months, if not years. It would be far too risky for the Queen to start meeting people on a regular basis.”

The Queen’s succession has become a hot topic in royal circles.
