In the past few days, the world discovered a whole new Katie Holmes after a series of eye-popping photos surfaced.
Holmes, who was low-key while in relationships with Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx, has decided to let loose and be a very liberated woman with her new man, Emilio Vitolo Jr..
The paparazzi snapped dozens of photos of Holmes, kissing and getting very handsy with Vitolo as they dined at the famous Antique Garage restaurant in New York.
In some of the pictures, Holmes, who is 41 years old, is sitting on the restaurateur, and he appears to have his hands under her shirt. Many were shocked and puzzled by the photos, including Vitolo’s fiancée, Rachel Emmons.
Just moments before the photos leaked, Vitolo, 33, the son of the owner of Nolita restaurant Emilio’s Ballato, sent a text to the woman he was set to marry and told her that their engagement and romance were over. The pair were engaged for almost two years.
A few hours after Emmons received the break-up text, her phone blew up with messages from her family and friends telling her that photos of Holmes and Vitolo kissing were circulating on the Internet.
A close friend of Emmons told the media that she was blindsided, and she is sad over the split because they were actively making wedding plans.
The pal added: “Up to this press coming out, Rachel had no idea what was going on. He is a cheater, and this isn’t a ‘happy ending’ story. They had concrete wedding plans in the works … now she is just left with bad press and forced to move home.”
The person continued: “She thinks it’s disrespectful for it to be so public. It is all “bizarre and disappointing. Rachel feels Emilio could have been more honest and dealt with it like a gentleman and face to face.”
As for Holmes, it is unknown if she was aware that she is dating a man who cheated on his former lady love.
The friend said this about Holmes’s entanglement: “Nobody really knows if Katie was aware he was with Rachel. If she did, it’s a bad example to set for her daughter.”
Emmons still has tons of sweet photos on Instagram with Vitolo.
A person reached out to Emmons and said: “You will do so much better?? I have felt this pain.?? It seems you are beautiful on the inside and out and will find a man that is worth your time. Stay strong, amiga.”
Emmons also received this message: “what’s wrong with him? What kind of monster dumps a girl after 18 months for a celebrity woman? He didn’t care about her at all; she deserves a real trustworthy man. Girl, I hope you know… you are a beautiful arrow. Pulled back, only to fly ahead free with force.”
Vitolo was quick to delete all the photos he took with Emmons. Some are wondering if Holmes’s image will be affected by the mini-scandal.
