Mark Bryan is a happily married father of three who is six feet tall and has become a real fashionista, thanks to his decision to wear a tight skirt and killer high heels to work every day.
Bryan also runs popular Instagram and Facebook pages, where he shares photos of his stylish outfits. The American man lives in Germany with his wife and their children and works as a robotics engineer.
Bryan did an interview where he explained that he wears skirts and heels because “he can.” The fashion lover said he started wearing women’s shoes at his then-girlfriend’s request while attending the university.
Bryan explained that his wife of 11 years is the one who helps him pick the stylish and sophisticated work outfits.
He also confessed that one of his daughters is eager to wear some of his clothes and shoes.
Bryan said that despite working at home during the ongoing health crisis, he makes sure to look elegant by wearing smart women’s business attire.
He went on to reveal why he prefers body-hugging pencil skirts over dresses.
The dad of three said: “I prefer skirts to dresses. Dresses don’t allow me to mix the genders. I prefer a ‘masculine’ look above the waist and a non-gendered look below the waist.”
When Bryan is asked about his sexuality, he responds by: “Most of the time, I’ll tell them it’s none of their business. Other times, I’ll just say, I’m straight. There are times I’ll go off on some, mostly men when asked. I’ll respond with something like ‘Do you ask a woman wearing a skirt and heels her sexual preferences?'”
Additionally, Bryan explains in every post that he shares on Instagram: “I am just a normal, happily married, straight guy that loves Porsche’s, beautiful women, and likes to incorporate a skirt and heels into his daily wardrobe. Clothes and shoes should have no gender.”
Bryan has received a lot of praise for his decision to wear skirts and heels.
One woman made this remark: “Women get so much sh*t because of the way we dress. I think the reason so many of us appreciate a man in heels and a skirt is because we recognize that once clothes are genderless, we won’t be targeted as much for dressing “too slutty”. There can’t be an argument that “she was asking for it” in a world where everyday men are dressing the same way. So for this reason, I’d call you a hero too. You’re normalizing something trans women get killed for, and cis women get raped for. So thank you for being you. ??”
Another social media user penned this uplifting note: “It says a lot about an individual if they’re so upset about a man wearing a skirt and heels. There are more serious things to worry about, you know? There are bigger problems in the world that are literally life or death.”
Bryan received a happy note that encourages him to be himself: “Oh, man! I am so jealous! I wish I could go to work in a skirt/dress and Heels! ?You truly are an inspiration to everyone! Especially the younger generation of people still trying to figure out who they are! I love that you are able to go outside of “gender norms” and dress; however, it makes you happy! keep it going; you are awesome!”
This critic shared this religious message: “A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wears women’s clothing, for the LORD your God detests anyone who does this. (NIV, Deuteronomy, 22:5).”
Some critics have said this might have consequences for children in his circle.
