By the looks of things, Prince Andrew‘s life has been made quite difficult by the revelations that came out around the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
And according to recent reports, the situation may have gotten bad enough to start driving Queen Elizabeth II away from her youngest son.
The latest development on that front was the Queen’s reported decision to stop selling postcards featuring Prince Andrew.
It has been revealed that employees at a gift shop in Balmoral explained to local visitors and tourists that items featuring the Duke of York had been removed from the shelves.
This is not the first time Prince Andrew has found himself in hot water as a result of the scandal, as he was previously ordered to stop performing his royal duties after the news broke.
However, Prince Andrew has maintained his innocence through the whole ordeal and continues to insist he had done nothing wrong.
The Epstein scandal took the world by storm, exposing various celebrities as potential pedophiles. However, not much has happened as a result of those revelations on the official front, leading some to question the legitimacy of authorities’ intentions.
There are also various speculations floating around about the involvement of certain political figures and their possible role in the scandal.
Epstein’s death is still under a major question mark for some, as the public apparently refused to believe that he did indeed take his own life.
Despite the scandal, some royal experts have revealed that there is a rumor claiming that Prince Andrew is doing his best to get on the Queen’s good side and return to perform his royal duties.
Royal experts Chris Ship and Lizzie Robinson spoke about the possibility of Andrew making a comeback.
Ship explained: “There were some reports last weekend that he was going to make some sort of comeback, which I thought was remarkable. I cannot believe for one second that anyone in the Royal Family will be thinking of putting Prince Andrew front and center of any event any time in the near future until all of this has been decided one way or another.”
Robinson added: “I found that extraordinary, I had a sort of double-take moment when I saw that story. The thought that he wants to return to royal life, to duties. I just think until this has been cleared up and he has spoken to the FBI, he is a distraction. He would be unable to work without that hanging over him.”
Public opinions globally have really shifted against Prince Andrew.
