Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is set to have a very different Christmas this year, according to her mother, Carole Middleton.
Carole took to Instagram in a rare move, where she surprised royal fans with a glamorous photo. The grandmother of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and Arthur (Pippa Middleton‘s son) posted the picture on her party planning company’s official page.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s mom was dressed for the holidays in a pair of glitter pants, a long-sleeve black top, and high heel shoes.
There are many gold and white decorations in the background, including balloons and fake gifts set up on a table.
Via the caption, the businesswoman opened up about how she will celebrate Christmas in the COVID-19 era.
She revealed that Kate and Prince William‘s children will still take part in some of the family’s traditions — but they will be done differently due to the many travel and visiting restrictions.
She said: “We may not be able to get together but, after a year like 2020, we need to remember what’s really important this Christmas. For me, what really matters is that my family feels connected. I usually let my grandchildren help me decorate the tree. This year, I’ll ask them by video call to decide which decoration should go where. It may need to be tastefully rearranged later…!”
She added: “Curating our Christmas ranges gave me some joy and escapism, and I hope they help you feel the same.
