He moved heaven and earth to protect her good name. The revelation has some believing that Prince William will certainly leap to end the fake reports about Rose Hanbury, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley, becoming his mistress and being Kate Middleton’s “Rural Rival.”
The heir to the throne, who is often described as incandescent with rage, let the naysayers know that he would not tolerate the mean comments and insults being thrown at the woman he fell in love with.
It has been revealed via royal experts that Kate Middleton and her entire family were often subjected to ridicule at the hands of Prince William’s rich and aristocratic friends.
This week, a story emerged via Express revealing that Kate Middleton was called ugly names, including “the Glosse Posse, a reference to their Gloucestershire roots.”
The future Queen of England was also known as “doors to manual” by Prince William’s “snooty friends,” according to royal expert Katie Nicholl.
The royal author said that Middleton’s family was given the distasteful nickname of “en masse Middletons.”
The royals and other established wealthy Britons mocked the clan of nouveaux riches, and they often attended English social events in “their pristine Land Rover that had been newly polished, and they had a brand new Fortnum and Masons hamper, all of the paraphernalia that comes with an upper-class gathering.”
A royal insider told the Daily Mail that Prince William fiercely defends his wife to this day and will “fly off the handle” anytime he feels as though Middleton is not being respected.
The source familiar with the situation explained: “He flies off the handle at any sign of Kate being patronized and stamps that out very quickly. It’s one of his triggers.”
Royal expert Canellecitadelle said in a tweet: “When Kate felt isolated from his life, he confronted the ‘friends’ who were not only abusive toward her but also her mother, mocking her English [and] calling her ‘door to manual’ as she used to be a hostess. [William] made it clear he didn’t tolerate disrespect to [Kate] or his in-laws.”
A source close to Middleton spoke to Sunday Times magazine and revealed that she is fully aware of the cruel names and jokes and has declined to answer back.
The person stated: “Over the years, many people have come up with great ideas for her, but if they are put across in a dismissive way, they’ve got pretty short shrift from him.”
Some royal observers say Prince William will protect Middleton against the Rose Hanbury chatter that has been going around for many years.
A lot of ink was spilled about the faux mistress and affair rumors during King Charles‘s coronation ceremony.
Prince William, his wife, and Hanbury attended the event.
