Princess Charlene of Monaco‘s new shocking haircut, which was on full display for the first time this week, is being criticized by many, including professional hairstylists.
Some fans are pleading for the bashing and shaming to end because reports claimed that the drastic change of look by Princess Charlene might be a cry for help, for she is set to have a “hellish 2021.”
Her womanizer husband, Prince Albert, is about to battle yet another humiliating paternity case in the public eye.
Appearing with her new edgy and rebellious style, Princess Charlene of Monaco, 43, was joined by her 60-year-old husband, Prince Albert, and 6-year-old twins Princess Gabriella, Countess of Carladès, and Jacques Honoré Rainier.
The family was attending a Christmas event at the Monaco Palace, and Princess Charlene of Monaco was seen rocking the new look as she gave out Christmas gifts alongside her family.
The princess, who is eleventh in line to the throne, is normally seen sporting a glamorous blonde bob cut above her shoulders.
She now has a punk-style with one side of her head completely shaved off, which some stylists have said does not suit her.
The new radical hairdo, which has seen the left side of Princess Charlene of Monaco’s head completely shaven, and the remaining haircut in a “choppy” style and colored in a dirty blonde-brown, has attracted mixed reviews, with stylist Brad Allen commenting that it is so bad one of her young twins could have cut it.
Hair experts have claimed that the new ‘do is not appropriate for the princess’ soft facial features, and she should have opted for a less drastic change.
However, the “dreadful” look has also drawn some positive reviews. Abra McField, CEO of Abra Kadabra Hair and Healing, said that many people are looking for a complete change of style during the coronavirus lockdowns.
She also suggested that Princess Charlene could be among those who find it “freeing” to have a very short haircut.

A 34-year-old woman from Brazil has come forward, claiming that Prince Albert is the father of her 15-year-old daughter.
The woman, who wants her identity to remain private, claimed that she had a passionate affair with Albert, “leading to the birth of their daughter – whose name is also classified – on July 4, 2005,” according to the Daily Mail.
Albert, who has been asked to take a DNA test, will appear in court in February.
A source told the publication that Charlene is devasted by the news and added: “The latest case covers a time when [Charlene] was already in love with him. Charlene has had a terrible year, with one family crisis after another, including Albert going down with coronavirus, and now she’s gearing herself up for this hell.”
Albert’s lawyer, Thierry Lacoste, slammed the court case by saying: “There are no intimate photos, no tangible facts surrounding a possible relationship.”
Albert welcomed two illegitimate children with Nicole Coste and Jazmine Grace while he was dating Charlene.
