Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have taken steps to begin their divorce proceedings, and the news about the split has some bizarre consequences.
For more than 24 hours, Kanye West and Jeffree Star have been trending on social media because of a video that was posted on TikTok by Ava Louise, who claimed: “Now that Kim’s finally doing this, I feel like I can spill the tea that I’ve been holding onto for months. This whole divorce comes as no surprise. Kanye’s been hooking up with a very famous beauty guru, male beauty guru, and a lot of people in the scene have known for a while.”

A source close to the couple has revealed that the couple is “done” and is now in settlement talks, aided by divorce attorney Laura Wasser who has been hired by Kim Kardashian.
Before Christmas, 43-year-old rapper Kanye West moved into his ranch in Wyoming and away from the rest of the Kardashian family, where he stayed for the duration of the holiday period last month.

West reportedly wants “nothing to do” with the Kardashian family. In October, he was missing from all Instagram pictures of Kim Kardashian’s 40th birthday party, with sources later saying he had showed up for only a short while.

In the past, Kanye West has labeled his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, “Kris Jong-Un” in response to her management of the family.
He tweeted last summer to say he had been “trying to get a divorce” from Kim Kardashian since November 2018 when his wife was joined by rapper Meek Mill at a summit on criminal justice.

While little is known about the settlement talks so far, the couple’s home in Calabasas, California, is likely to be the bone of contention — which has so far cost the pair $60 million.
Named an “oasis of purity and light” by designers, the house is owned by Kanye West while the surrounding land and property belong to Kim Kardashian.
