Adele Is Making A Huge Sacrifice To Protect Her Son

Adele Not Singing About Simon Konecki Divorce On New Album To Protect Son Angelo

Adele will not be singing about the end of her relationship with Simon Konecki anytime soon or ever.

The 32-year-old British singer, who rose to fame with love songs such as “Rolling in the Deep” and “Someone Like You,” wanted to surprise her fans with a different style on her next album, which is expected to be completed shortly.

According to an insider close to the iconic singer, her new songs will not be about her divorce because “heartbreak has helped Adele shift records over the years, but this split is quite different.”

The “Hello” performer reportedly wanted to shield her eight-year-old son, Angelo, from any unwanted attention and agreed that it was not appropriate to write intimate songs about his father or their failed marriage.

That is a substantial musical sacrifice for Adele, who has always poured her pain, heartbreak, and drama into her lyrics.

The insider also claimed that Adele’s fourth studio album would be very different in comparison to her previous work, “so it hasn’t bothered her too much that Simon quietly expected her to keep their relationship out of her music.”

The person familiar with the situation told The Sun: “They’re both aware their son Angelo should be protected, and that’s why Adele has agreed not to sing about their relationship.”

Adele and Simon decided to separate after three years of marriage. Even though both acted in a civilized manner, the divorce proceedings did not go without any drama.

Apparently, the former couple had trouble with the division of their assets, and at some point, they had to rely on mediators.

According to people close to Adele and the charity CEO, both of them “didn’t want to set lawyers on each other, but the process hasn’t been exactly straightforward all the same.”

However, despite the arguments, Adele and Simon firmly agreed that they would share the custody of their son.

The source further explained: “They made it very clear they didn’t want to set lawyers on each other, but the process hasn’t been exactly straightforward all the same. The priority was making sure they did right by their son, Angelo. The first thing they agreed on was sharing custody, and since then, it has been about dividing up the rest of their marital finances fairly.”

Adele is staying quiet about what she intends to cover with her next album, this is creating an even bigger buzz around the project.
