Jorge Garcia has not been seen in public for more than two years, but this week, he was spotted in Los Angeles with his wife, Rebecca Birdsall.
The Lost actor, 47, is not often photographed outside and prefers to share his private life via his Instagram account, where he occasionally posts updates for his 247,000 followers.
He was seen in L.A. with his wife of almost two years, actress Rebecca Birdsall.
Garcia looked completely unrecognizable, sporting an awesome bushy beard and long curly grey hair. In the era of COVID-19, the beloved star wore a mask.
Jorge Garcia wore a blue hoodie and black pants, with black shoes and a colorful face mask and bandana. He was seen at one point carrying a box and other items.
Rebecca Birdsall wore a purple T-shirt and black pants, with blue and purple sneakers and a blue and white face mask.
She was seen carrying documents and had a grey bag over her shoulder. Garcia was a fan favorite on Lost and a regular on the show from 2004 until 2010.
One fan posted this sweet reaction to the photos: “Just finished watching Lost through for the second time…dude, I love you.”
Another person had this remark about the beard: “This beard is very powerful Jorge.”
Jorge Garcia received this kind compliment that said: “I am surprised to see your hair has grown @pronouncedhorhay love your work on Lost and Five O.”
He played Hugo “Hurley” Reyes, who was one of the stranded passengers stuck on a desert island after a flight from Sydney to Los Angeles crashed.
Jorge Garcia opened up about his health concerns in a past interview due to his size and said he had lost 30 pounds.
He stated: “I can afford to not live on rum and burritos and take better care of myself. Besides, there were enough people who were waiting for my character to lose weight as a result of being stranded on a desert island.”
He was also believed to have lost around 100 pounds several years later by following a workout plan and a strict diet, which included lots of vegetables and protein.
He married Birdsall in June 2019, after they met on the set of Hawaii Five-0.
He was seen in 2018 at a red carpet event to celebrate the premiere of Magnum P.I. and 50 years of Hawaii Five-0.
Garcia keeps his fans up to date via his Instagram account, where earlier this month, he shared a selfie holding actress Shannon Carbonell‘s new book and encouraging his followers to read it.
