Instagram influencer Miss Mercedes Morr has died, according to the authorities in Texas. The model and fashionista was brutally killed by a man identified as Kevin Accorto, who also took his life.
According to the police, the body of a popular Instagrammer, whose real name is Janae Gagnier, was discovered in her apartment in Richmond.

Gagnier’s body was found after her family asked to perform a wellness check. The father of 33-year-old Jenae Gagnier entered the apartment with the police and discovered her lifeless body.
Police noted there was no sign of forced entry at the apartment.
Accorto was also found dead at the scene, according to investigators. Accorto’s death was ruled a suicide. The medical examiner said his cause of death was “multiple sharp force trauma.”
In a statement to the media, the Richmond Police Department said: “The alleged suspect in the death of Jenae Gagnier, Also known as ‘Miss Mercedes Morr,’ has been identified as 34-year-old Kevin Alexander Accorto with an address in Florida.”
The law enforcers went on to reveal: “Accorto was the second person found at the scene at 5200 West Pointe Circle in Richmond on Sunday evening. The cause of death for the victim and Accorto will be released directly from the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner’s Office. As this is an ongoing investigation, no more information will be released at this time.”
The cause of death of Miss Mercedes Morr is strangulation. It is not known what led to the murder-suicide.
Miss Mercedes Morr and Kevin Alexander Accorto, a Florida resident, appear not to know each other and had no prior contact before the horrific events.
However, in a post shared by Janae Gagnier’s sister, London, she hinted that Accorto might have been a stalker.
The mourning woman wrote: “FCK ALL THESE PNK AS ALLEGATIONS that these blogs are posting & the comments. Nigas don’t know shit. She wasn’t robbed. It was just a stalker from outta state who’d BEEN stalking her. Don’t play on my baby’s name EVER. I got daddy & grandma Nae Nae. I feel you with me telling me you’re good. I hate everything right now.”
Gagnier had a massive following across several social media platforms, including Facebook, OnlyFans, and Instagram.
Rappers Cardi B, Snoop Dogg, and Megan Thee Stallion are among the 2.6 million people who follow her on Instagram.
Many of her millions of followers have taken to the site to pay tributes.
