Prince Harry is a master at making scandalous comments to push his brand, land business deals, and sell books — he is now getting a bitter taste of his medicine.
This week, a veteran reporter, who has a juicy book to push, has decided to share some rather humiliating revelations about Prince Harry.
Many believe that Katie Couric‘s bombshell confession must have left Meghan Markle red-faced with embarrassment.
The Daily Mail obtained several extracts from the reporter’s upcoming memoir entitled Going There, which will be released on October 24th.
The journalist and talk show host spoke about her many high-profile jobs and scandals involving other big-name reporters and A-listers.
However, she also unapologetically touched on some of her most famous or infamous interviews throughout her lengthy career.
She had a lot to say about her sit-down with Prince Harry in Brazil after a charity event.
The sit-down with Meghan Markle’s husband occurred weeks before his memorable trip to Las Vegas, where he was photographed naked, smoking, and drinking with friends and other party-goers.
Prince Harry’s nude photos were amongst one of the biggest scandals to rock the royal family. According to the leaked manuscript, Couric did not hold back while writing about her interaction with Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.
She claimed that Prince Harry was deep in what she described as “wild-oats sowing phase.”
She continued to paint a not very pretty picture by revealing that she could literally smell that Prince Harry was up to no good.
She wrote: “…the smell of cigarettes and alcohol seemed to “ooze from every pore” in his body.”
The interview was part of an ABC special that focused on Queen Elizabeth II‘s Diamond Jubilee.
A resurfaced video on the interview revealed that Kouric poked fun at Prince Harry by introducing him as the Prince, “known for his cheeky sense of humor and love of partying a bit.”
She did have one positive note about Prince Harry’s interview. She confessed: “We got to see the warm and personal side when we talked about what his grandmother means to him.”
Prince Harry made some lovely and heartwarming comments about his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
He stated: “When we were young, it was straightforward to take our grandmother for granted. She was just a grandmother to us, and it’s only been over the past five, eight to ten years that I’ve come to understand the huge deal she is.”
Prince Harry went on to say that he was longing to have children and finally meet his wife.
He confessed: “I’ve longed for kids since I was very, very young. I’m waiting to find the right person and someone who’s willing to take on the job.”
Prince Harry has since married Meghan Markle, and they have stepped down from their royal duties. The power couple now resides in California with their two young children.
Prince Harry is getting ready to publish his own memoir, where he will spill some ink and more dirty tea.
Many experts predict that the philanthropist will take down the royal family — especially Camilla Parker Bowles with more truth bombs.
Some are wondering if he will go after Couric and throw her under the proverbial bus in his memoir.
Prince Harry’s book will be out in 2022.
