It seems that a bitter rivalry between Kate Middleton and her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, after her eventual departure from London, might have dramatically changed the course of her life.
After Meghan Markle stepped down from her royal duties with Prince Harry, Kate Middleton finally agreed to step up her game and embrace her role in the British monarchy.
Kate Middleton made a recent daring red carpet appearance and royal author Dan Wootton noted: “But there’s an intriguing reality behind this transformation that no one will acknowledge publicly: None of it would have been possible without a certain Meghan Markle. Kate, royal insiders, insist, would never have had the confidence to make such a high-stakes appearance BM (that’s Before Meghan).”
The duchess’ decision to come forward as the potential savior of the British monarchy has earned her the title of the most powerful member of the royal family.
During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and after the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Kate Middleton elevated her role by carrying out royal engagements virtually.
The mother of three reached out to nurses, volunteers, and struggling parents who were forced to become educators with the closing of schools.
The future Queen, famous for staying behind the scenes, took the lead with various projects.
She was able to unite the country with her touching Hold Still: A Portrait of Our Nation in 2020.
The book, which captures Great Britain as it struggled and survived through the 2020 pandemic, was praised by Queen Elizabeth II and has become a bestseller.
Royal expert Camilla Tominey said in a video for The Telegraph that Duchess Kate of Cambridge is being rewarded for her dramatic transformation.
The journalist revealed: “This is often overlooked, but she is arguably the most powerful person in the royal family because she is the wife of a future King and the mother of a future King.”
Tominey praised Kate Middleton for breaking out of her cocoon and spreading her royal wings like a butterfly.
She added: “I think some people might say that the lockdown that we’ve experienced here—well, three of them—in many ways was the unlocking of Kate. When it comes to their generation, you could say [Kate and Prince William] are ruling the royal roost.”
Royal expert Katie Nicholl, who predicted the quiet emergence of Middleton, shared: “We are seeing a Queen in waiting. We are seeing the Duchess take on more duties, more royal engagements, more of a public profile than ever before…very much a part of the palace machine bringing her from the shadows of Anmer Hall into the forefront, into the spotlight because they’re very clever.”
Duchess Kate is really shinning in her new role.
