Queen Elizabeth’s Brutal Comment May Help Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Stay Married For A Long Time

Queen Elizabeth Prince William Harry Marriages

Queen Elizabeth II was married for 70 years when she lost her husband, Prince Philip, in 2021.

According to official reports, Her Majesty and Prince Philip had a genuine partnership. He was supportive of Queen Elizabeth as she dedicated her life to serving the British people.

Their marriage was blessed with many memorable moments throughout the years, including the birth of their four children, representing the British Monarchy worldwide, and working to raise awareness issues that mattered to them.

Their romance was also riddled with rumors of infidelities on Prince Philip’s side. However, the pair never spoke divorce. It seems that separation was never an option.

Royal aides have revealed in an unearthed article that the Queen has demanded that her grandsons, Prince Harry and Prince William, follow in her footsteps — they have to make their marriages work.

While Her Majesty, 95, was able to keep her relationship with her late spouse going, not the same can be said for her family, including her children.

The Queen watched three of her four children go through brutal, nasty, and public royal divorces.

Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, separated in 1992 and divorced four years later.

Princess Anne and Mark Phillips also divorced in 1992. In 1996, Prince Charles and Princess Diana filed for divorce.

Queen Elizabeth lashed out at Prince Harry and Prince William to tell them they need to make their marriages work because she had enough.

According to a resurfaced article in the Sunday Express, Her Majesty warned Prince William and his younger brother, Prince Harry, that “enough was enough” in terms of royal divorces.

At that time, Prince William was in a full-blown romance with Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry was enjoying all the perks of the wealthy and famous bachelor life.

A Buckingham Palace aide told the Sunday Express: “The Queen is the head of the Church and so from the point of principle she is opposed to royal divorces. However, she has witnessed the divorces not just of her sister Princess Margaret but also those of her three eldest children. She now feels, to put it bluntly, that enough is enough. She does not want to name names, but she is adamant that there are going to be no further royal divorces during her reign.”

The royal source continued: “The concept of divorce goes against the Queen’s whole upbringing, which is about duty and about soldiering on in the face of adversity. She inherited a lot of her views from her mother, who was scarred by the King Edward and Wallis Simpson scandal.”

Edward VIII created royal chaos when he abdicated the throne to marry American divorcee Wallis Simpson in December 1936.

Prince William and Prince Harry were clearly told by their grandmother that they needed to find “the one” because once they get married, there is no going back.

The royal source explained: “Both Princes William and Harry have been in no doubt that when they marry, it’s for keeps. It’s felt that Harry would greatly benefit from several more years as a bachelor.”

The Duke of Cambridge and Kate Middleton have been married for almost 11 years and are the proud parents of three children.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been married for almost four years and share two children.

The pair, who quit the royal life in 2020, now resides in California.
