Meghan Markle Prince Harry Queen Elizabeth Camilla Parker Bowles Role Charles King

In a rare and surprising move, Queen Elizabeth II has decided to let the world know about her personal feelings regarding the future of the British Monarchy.

The 95-year-old Monarch decided to mark the 70th anniversary of her reign by announcing that she wants Camilla Parker Bowles to become Queen when Prince Charles ascends the throne.

While Bowles has had a complicated relationship with Queen Elizabeth and the British people because of her salacious affair with Prince Charles — it appears that she has worked diligently for the past 17 years to erase some of her sins.

Elizabeth II confessed that since joining the royal family, her daughter-in-law has proven herself to be an asset who has shown her loyalty.

The Queen made her heart’s desire known in a statement where she sang Bowles’s praises.

The message that read: “And when, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me; and it is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service.”

The media heavily scrutinized the time of the announcement, with many asking, why now?

Some royal experts claimed that Queen Elizabeth made the move to prevent Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from further humiliating Prince Charles and his wife in the upcoming tell-all book.

Others claimed Queen Elizabeth wanted to let the world know that she is thinking of her mortality and the future of the Monarchy.

A royal insider explained that Queen Elizabeth actually decided that Bowles would be Queen in 2019.

Both Queen Elizabeth and the heir to the throne opted to hit pause on the significant decision because they were nervous.

A person familiar with the situation explained to the Daily Mail: “This is something that has been on the Prince of Wales‘ mind for some time, but the timing had to be right. There was this nervousness, and they wanted to get it right.”

The royal insider claimed: “It’s been a done deal for some time, but the question has been how best to execute it. You are not going to please everyone. They understand that some people still won’t be happy, but the family believes it is the right thing to do.”

Many members of the royal family have reacted to the big news from the Queen — some with more energy than others.

Prince Charles was, of course, delighted, while Prince William, who has had a complicated with his stepmother, simply said he is supportive and respectful of Queen Elizabeth’s wishes.

Almost one week after the Queen’s announcement, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said nothing.

Prince Harry eventually broke his silence to praise his mother, Princess Diana, for her work on AIDS and HIV.

Richard Kay, the Daily Mail columnist, weighed in on Prince Harry’s decision not to acknowledge the Queen’s decision by writing: “‘I could never fill her shoes.’ He might just as well have added: ‘And nor could anyone else.'”

The royal expert went on to say that the snub is rather odd because Bowles had a kind relationship with Markle.

He said: “The danger for Harry is that this absence of any warmth towards the woman whom he once averred was not a ‘wicked stepmother’ could be seen as a snub. So was it calculated? And if so, why, when it was Camilla who was among the very first members of the Royal Family to offer the hand of friendship to Meghan?”

Defenders of Markle say that she would not show public support for Bowles because she has to be loyal to her husband.

Prince Harry is forced to stay quiet because he has to represent his mother and keep her legacy alive.
