Irabelis Carrazana, 22, has been arrested after it was confirmed that she not only had sex with a minor, she was also grooming him to become a drug dealer and killer, allegedly.
The Florida woman reportedly picked her target in 2018 — a 14-year-old boy whose identity has not been revealed. She allegedly spent over one year preying on the child.
According to the police, Carrazana had sex with the teen on multiple occasions. She also sexually assaulted the now-15-year-old child in front of cameras and recorded the despicable acts for her viewing pleasure or some form of blackmail.
When the police quizzed the boy, he confessed that he “was in a sexual relationship” with Carrazana. Along with the inappropriate sexual activities, the crazed Florida woman was also forcing the teenager to peddle drugs.
The police report showed that she often sent the boy text messages to instruct him to sell drugs for another person she was involved with.
A detective working on the case said: “Carrazana directed the victim to sell narcotics on behalf of an unknown person.”
The police shared one conversation where Carrazana got angry at the teen “for not collecting money from a buyer on a narcotic sale.”
Police indicated that “other communications between the defendant and several unknown persons, via text messages, revealed that the defendant is involved in gang activities.”
Carrazana, who was involved in gang activities, was living in a home that had been targeted in a drive-by shooting while the teen was present.
It is believed that the shooting was carried out by a rival gang during which “a violent physical altercation with the victim” took place.
On Tuesday, Carrazana was arrested and slapped with several charges.
Jail records showed that the woman is facing three counts of lewd and lascivious battery on a child between 12 and 16 and two counts of child neglect, two counts of promoting sexual performance by a child and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a child.
Records also indicate that she is being held Miami-Dade’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center after being arrested on a $17,000 bond. Thus far, it is not known if she hired a lawyer or not.
This is not Carrazana’s first run-in with the law. She was arrested in November and is facing drug possession and other charges.
She also had a warrant out for allegedly driving with a suspended license.
