Prince Philip’s Close Aide Leaked His Jarring Confession About Meghan Markle To Queen Elizabeth

Queen Elizabeth Prince Harry Meghan Markle Philip Megxit Comment

This week, Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the royal family gathered for an emotional thanksgiving service for her late husband, Prince Philip.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, were two noticeable absences from the gathering.

As Queen Elizabeth and more than 500 people gathered to celebrate the life of the late duke, Prince Harry and Markle opted to stay in their California mansion amid an ongoing lawsuit over security concerns when and if they ever travel to London together.

The service has prompted revelations made by a royal author about Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, to resurface.

Christopher Andersen, a top royal commentator, explained that the late prince was more than furious upon discovering that his grandson and Markle had decided to step down from their royal duties for good and start a life in America.

According to the book Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan, Prince Philip reached out to one of his aides and made a jarring comment about Meghan Markle.

Prince Philip told one of his closest aides, “we were wrong about her all along.”

After discovering Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision, he rapidly reached out to his wife, Queen Elizabeth, to express his frustration and anger.

According to the aide, who spoke to the renowned author, Prince Philip shouted to Queen Elizabeth and said this about the situation: “This shows a complete lack of respect.”

The late Duke of Edinburgh was said to have been “spitting blood” after learning about the pair’s decision to leave Prince Harry’s home country.

The writer explained that no royal family members were warned about the announcement that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were exiting the United Kingdom to become financially independent.

The author claimed a sea change took place in the Palace walls. The royals’ view of Meghan Markle was no longer the same.

Prince Philip and Prince Charles had embraced Markle when she entered the royal family but opted to compare her twenty-first-century Wallis Simpson.

The Duke of Windsor, former King Edward VIII, abdicated the British throne to marry Simpson, an American divorcée.

The Palace opted not to deny the stories and instead said this about the book: “We don’t comment on books of this kind as to do so risks giving it some form of authority or credibility.”

A few observers are wondering if those old wounds still dictate some of Prince Harry’s current moves when it comes to the British royal family.
