Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s One Decision That Might Upset Queen Elizabeth During Their Visit To London

Meghan Markle Prince Harry UK Trip

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced that they will return to England in September.

Indeed after the catastrophic Jubilee reception from the royal family, not many royal fans or experts could have predicted this move.

In an official statement via their representative, Markle and her husband revealed that they are set to arrive in London in early September to take part in a series of charity events that are near and dear to their hearts.

The runaway royals will also hop over to Germany. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will visit Manchester on September 5 and meet with young leaders from 190 countries during the One Young World Summit.

They will be in Germany to promote the 2023 Invictus Games before returning to the UK for the WellChild Awards on September 8.

A spokesperson for the couple said: “Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are delighted to visit with several charities close to their hearts in early September.”

Like everything they do, Prince Harry and Markle’s decision to visit the UK has raised questions, and many are shaking their heads.

The main questions are — will they also travel to Scotland to see Queen Elizabeth II, who is facing mobility and other health issues? And will their young children return to England with them?

The second question can be quickly answered. According to many royal experts, Archie and Lilibet Diana will most likely remain in California with their grandmother, Doria, and nannies.

This is a work/charity trip, and the royal parents will not be interested in having their very young children at these adult-oriented events.

The first question about whether Prince Harry and Markle will make time for The Queen during their trip is a bit more complex.

Ingrid Seward, the editor of Majesty magazine, attempted to dissect the matter during a sit-down with The Mirror.

According to the expert, the couple will visit the Queen because — not seeing the aging Monarch is simply not an option.

She deemed that it is an important family matter and that Prince Harry and Markle should make it their top priority to visit Her Majesty, whether she is at Winsor or in Balmoral.

She said: “Harry and Meghan’s September trip to the UK and Europe will have been carefully planned. None of this is difficult and should, if they are sensible, leave space for important family matters.”

The pair has no excuse to upset the 96-year-old Queen, who is more and more looking like she is quietly retiring from the high-profile job that she held for more than 70 years.

The royal author went on to reveal: “Finding time to see Harry’s grandmother the Queen, whether it be at Balmoral or Windsor Castle, is important. She might be 96 and be suffering from mobility problems, but she is still in charge. There is no way the Sussexes would want to upset her, and making an effort to travel to Scotland if the Queen is still in residence, would go down well.”

The writer also touched on Prince Harry’s upcoming controversial new memoir by saying it is another reason for him and Markle to reach out to the royals.

She concluded by saying: “With the prospect of his controversial autobiography appearing at the end of the year and causing all kinds of family discord, Harry needs to make peace with as many people as he can, while he can. Whether or not that includes his brother Prince William is the question we all want to be answered. We may have to wait sometime.”

Prince Harry is not expected to reach out to Prince William during the visit, but his close bond with his grandmother might push him to make an effort to see her.
