Meghan Markle is not enthused, one could even say that she is turned off by Prince Harry‘s latest plan.
According to multiple reports, Prince Harry has unveiled his wish list for his wife, Meghan Markle: a home in London. The runaway prince misses his friends and family and would love to reconnect with them on some level.
He also wants his children, Archie and Lilibet, to enjoy the full experience of being British citizens.
To accomplish these goals, Prince Harry plans to start house hunting. It was previously revealed that Meghan Markle was initially against the idea because she is unhappy and uncomfortable in England, but was willing to make an effort to satisfy her husband’s desire to be closer to home.
However, according to one royal expert, the reports are inaccurate because Markle and her young children have no intention of setting foot in the UK.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk that Meghan Markle is unlikely to make a comeback on British soil and added: “It does seem unlikely that Meghan will be visiting Britain any time soon. The same, in the short term anyway, applies to Archie and Lili.”
He went on to explain that Prince Harry will eventually discover his dream of owning a British home is a real nightmare for security purposes.
The author went on to talk about Prince Harry’s ongoing court case against the British government that denied him the right to pay for police protection when he and his family visited the UK.
Richard Fitzwilliams went on to explain: “I see no substance to the rumor that Harry will split his time between the United States and Britain. He has serious concerns about security and still has a case pending against the Home Office regarding this that is awaiting trial. It is obviously important that there is an arrangement, probably, though not necessarily, with the Royal Family, which gives him a secure permanent base that he can use when he does visit Britain.”
Another royal expert told The Mirror, that Prince Harry’s urge for a piece of real estate in the UK will lead to marital drama because Markle wants to remain in California.
Royal expert and historian Dr. Tessa Dunlop stated: “Rather, the pair will branch out and buy somewhere of their own, in a mission driven by homesick Harry. As with so many Sussex rumors, the subtext here is marital tension. Meghan is just fine in California with her celebrity chums, hot new agent, and pending return as an influencer. Not so Harry, who is often pictured looking, well, spare. (The Beyonce concert anyone?) We are served clips of him in awkward shiny shoes (World Mental Health Day in New York) or being upstaged by his suave, expensively understated wife.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will have to reach an agreement.
