The romance between Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson might be over, but he will never be able to erase her from his life.
That statement is literal. The former Saturday Night Live star only dated the billionaire reality star for nine months, but he fell hard for her and her four children.
Despite the wild drama caused by the constant bullying by Kardashian’s ex-husband, Kanye West, Davidson confirmed that he was deeply in love with all things Kardashian by getting multiple tattoos on his body.
Indeed, the comedian showed how much he was dedicated to Kardashian by having at least four tattoos on his body. Pete Davidson, who was proud that Kim Kardashian passed the baby bar, even tattooed, “My girl is a lawyer.”
Davidson also made jaws drop when he got the first initials of Kardashian and West’s four kids’ names printed on his neck.
The actor honored his then-girlfriend by having her first name, Kim, plastered in permanent ink on his already-heavily tattooed body.
An enamored Pete Davidson proved that love has no limit and went as far as branding himself in her honor. The SKIMS founder made an appearance on The Ellen Show, where she revealed: “The ‘Kim’ one isn’t a tattoo. It’s actually a branding. I just think he was like, ‘I want something that’s there, that I can’t get rid of [like] my tattoos.'”
According to experts, branding is a body modification via extreme techniques that permanently transforms the surface of the skin by causing a visible scar.
While Davidson can go through the pain of covering, modifying, or removing the tattoos dedicated to Kardashian, he is stuck with the branding for life because it is not possible to remove the scars.
According to Cheat Sheet, the branding is permanent, and Davidson will have Kardashian’s name with him all his life.
The media outlet explained the complex situation: “And it is far more permanent than tattoos are. Branding scars can’t be lasered off or covered with anything because the skin that heals over the design isn’t healthy enough for another procedure, and no cosmetic surgery can completely erase the scar. Because the skin is too weak to handle a tattoo, a branding can’t be covered with new ink. It can be faded with topical gels or laser therapy, but there is no way to permanently remove a branding, so it looks like Davidson is stuck with Kim’s name forever.”
Davidson’s next girlfriend will forever be reminded of his famous ex-lady love.
