It seems that Joe Biden has “a powerful Democratic weapon” coming his way and might not be aware of it.
Rumors and loud chatter in the political sphere have been saying that Joe Biden will drop out of the presidential election in 2024.
This week, one political and financial expert made headlines by sharing what the future holds for the current President of the United States.
Michael Cembalest, a top JPMorgan Chase strategist, predicted that between March 5 and early November, Biden will announce that he is no longer in the presidential race.
Cembalest, the head of the market and investment strategy unit in the Wall Street Bank’s asset management division, claimed that Biden will remove himself because of health issues.
He claimed: “Biden will drop out of the race sometime between Super Tuesday and the November election, citing health concerns.”
This year, Super Tuesday will fall on March 5; there will be presidential primaries and caucuses held in multiple states, including California, Texas, Massachusetts, Vermont, and North Carolina.
Cembaless’s prediction is not all that surprising because some in the Democratic Party have been saying the same thing. At the age of 81, some voters say that they need younger blood and a sharper mind to handle the highest office in the land.
Many Democrats want someone who can go toe to toe with the indestructible Donald Trump.
Teflon Don might be 77 years old, but he appears powerful and virile, and his tough-talking (even when he is spewing jaw-dropping world salads), has convinced a large group of Americans that he is the man for the job.
On her podcast on SiriusXM, Megyn Kelly hinted that the Democrats could be saved by none other than former first lady Michelle Obama.
If Joe Biden is no longer on the ticket, the former Fox News darling predicted that Michelle Obama, who is viewed as “a powerful Democratic weapon,” could swoop in to potentially defeat Donald Trump.
Kelly stated: “It’s a whole new ballgame. There’s no question she’s more talented than Joe Biden is politically. No question.”
She called the former lawyer a great orator and “a powerful Democratic weapon” during President Barack Obama‘s two terms in the White House.
The former lawyer believes Mrs. Obama’s recent appearance on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast is a major hint that she is mulling over the idea of running for president.
The journalist stated: “She has nothing to promote. She has no book; she has no event, so that means she called them and said, ‘I have something to say. Why is she saying it? To help Joe Biden? Or to help herself? The appearance on Shetty’s podcast would lay the foundation for her emergence on the national scene in some political way.”
Kelly added: “Very interesting; she should resurface now.”
During the interview with Shetty, Barack Obama’s wife said that she is “terrified about what could possibly happen” in the 2024 presidential election.
The mother of two confessed: “Our leaders matter—who we select, who speaks for us, who holds that bully pulpit. It affects us in ways that I think sometimes people take for granted. We cannot take this democracy for granted, and sometimes I worry that we do. Those are the things that keep me up.”
Kelly concluded by blasting Mrs. Obama by saying that beautifully stringed words and memorable one-liners are not enough to make her president.
She shared: “That’s all her husband did. That’s all he had. He was a talented orator. No wonder she’s touting that as the thing we need in a president. But that’s not really what we’re electing in a president. We’d really like policies that make sense.”
Kelly often grabs headlines for her pro-Trump comments.
