King Charles Camilla Parker Bowles Prince Harry Request Denied

Prince William and Kate Middleton are like most couples who have had a complex relationship with a big and beautiful ending.

The royal couple has been together for over two decades. They had one of the most gorgeous royal weddings, watched by millions of adoring fans.

Kate Middleton and Prince William have three young children who are the apples of their eyes. The pair took a rocky road with bumps, breakups, tears, frustrations, fears, and uncertainties.

Prince William and Middleton have been very open about the bumpiest periods of the relationship.

In 2007, when the world was waiting for Middleton and the heir to the throne to announce their engagement, supporters were heartbroken to discover they had split.

Details about the separations came to light, putting Camilla Parker Bowles in a terrible spot.

According to Christopher Andersen, a former Time magazine and PEOPLE magazine editor, Camilla, the Queen Consort, contributed to the breakup through her controversial words and overall conduct towards Middleton.

The Vanity Fair writer revealed via The Daily Beast that Camilla, the Queen Consort’s whispers to those close to her created enough stress and unease for Prince William to part ways with Middleton.

The best-selling author of Kate: A Royal Love Story told the media outlet: “I was in London when the breakup [of William and Kate] occurred. I was shocked, completely stunned. Everyone thought it was only a matter of time before William was going to ask Kate to marry him. And then people started telling me that Camilla was behind it.”

According to the journalist and historian, Camilla, Queen Consort, an aristocrat, viewed Middleton as middle class and did not fit in the Royal Family.

He elaborated: “She’s an aristocrat, and she has always been moving in Royal circles. She had always thought of herself as the heiress to Alice Keppel, her great-grandmother, who was the mistress of Edward VII. She was very proud of that connection, she boasted about that as a child and as an adult, and that’s what she intended to be; part of the Royal circle in the role of mistress to the future king and then the king.”

He expanded on Camilla, Queen Consort’s views on the hard-working middle-class Middletons by saying: “She did not look at Kate as someone who was worthy of joining the Royal Family. Kate is the first working-class woman to be accepted into the Royal Family. She is descended from coal miners, and her mother was a flight attendant.”

The author added: “So for all those reasons, Camilla never really felt that Kate Middleton as an individual and the Middleton family as a whole were going to be worthy of entering into the Royal Family. I was told at the time of the breakup, and later on as well, that Camilla basically whispered in Charles’s ear that it was really time to make — to force — William to make a decision one way or the other.”

He concluded by revealing the consequences of Camilla, the Queen Consort’s murmurs to King Charles III: “It has been since confirmed publicly that Charles did suggest to William that he either make a commitment to Kate or basically set her free, as it were. Now, his motives for doing that may have been pure, but Camilla’s…not so much. She was the instigator of this.”

Other royal experts blamed a wild getaway that Prince William took with his friend, Guy Pelly, on a “boys-only sailing trip to Greece” with an all-female yacht crew that angered Middleton causing their second separation (they had broken up a first time in 2004).

Prince William and Midleton split for about ten weeks before realizing that they could not live without each other.

Kate Middleton, an advocate for mental health, was honest and raw about the breakup. During a royal engagement, Catherine, Princess of Wales, said the time away from Prince William made her a stronger woman.

She said via Express: “It made me a stronger person. You find out things about yourself that maybe you hadn’t realized. I think you can get quite consumed by a relationship when you’re younger. I really valued that time, for me as well, although I didn’t think it at the time.”

The Waleses have a very interesting to share.
