She penned a lengthy caption to explain that she had a meeting with her mother at her California home. The mother and daughter have not seen each other or had any contact in the past three years.
The pop star confessed in her post that while surprised to see her mother, she was also delighted by the visit.
She also revealed that she has not worked out all her issues with her mother; they are taking steps in the right direction.
The entertainer claimed: “My sweet mama showed up at my doorstep yesterday after 3 years … it’s been such a long time … with family, there are always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!!”
The actress added: “And after being able to communicate what I’ve held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!! I love 💕 you so much !!!”
She quietly shaded her mother, who refused to let her drink coffee while she was recording and touring.
