Not everyone approved of Tom Brady‘s roast on Netflix. The athlete’s exes, Gisele Bündchen and Bridget Moynahan, have decided to make their feelings known about some of the brutal jokes at their expense that are going viral.
Gisele Bündchen was mercilessly mocked not only for her failed marriage to Tom Brady but for her burgeoning romance with her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente.
Comedian Kevin Hart opened the ball by going after Tom Brady and slowly worked his way to his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen.
Hart claimed that Tom Brady left New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick “high and dry” when he exited the team after a decade and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The actor said: “You f–ked him. You f–ked him good,” Hart said during “The Roast of Tom Brady. You did, Tom, you f–ked your coach, but let me tell you something people … that’s what you’ve got to do to maintain your happiness.”
He continued mocking Gisele Bündchen, who recently confirmed that her friendship with her jiu-jitsu teacher Joaquim Valente had blossomed into a romantic relationship.
Hart shared: “You sometimes got to f–k your coach. You know who else f–ked their coach? Gisele. She f–ked that karate man.”
A source close to the supermodel said she was irritated by the event. The person in the know told Page Six: “Gisele says she’s been hurt all over again because Tom again put football before his family — this time during his comedy roast.”
Another source explained to Us Weekly that Brady has reached out and apologized for the hurtful jokes.
The insider claimed: “Gisele and Tom had a ‘no disparaging remarks’ rule when it came to speaking about each other or their marriage and divorce. She (was) definitely offended and upset about the comments made at the roast. … She thinks her new relationship should have been off-limits. (But) Tom did reach out to Gisele to apologize to her. They are cordial and only communicate about the kids.”
As for Bridget Moynahan, she was laughed at for being dumped by Brady while she was pregnant because he assumed that she was getting fat.
Comedian Nikki Glaser poked fun at Bridget Moynahan by saying: “Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long; you retired, then came back, then retired, I get it. It’s hard to walk away from something that isn’t your pregnant girlfriend. To be fair, he didn’t know. He just thought she was getting fat.”
Taking to social media, the actress, who shares a son with the NFL star, made it clear that she was troubled by the comments.
Bridget Moynahan stated: “Loyal people take s–t more personal because they never would’ve did that s–t to you.” The actress also added, “So true,” in the caption.
Brady might have to clear things up with his exes in a major way.
