Leah Remini Is Attacked By The Church Of Scientology For Publishing This Letter About Tom Cruise

Leah Remini Tom Cruise Mission Impossible Rant Letter Church Of Scientology Response

Leah Remini went after Tom Cruise, and the Church of Scientology is fighting back in an unprecedented fashion.

Recently, Cruise made headlines after a leaked audio hit the Internet where he went on an epic rant while on the set of Mission: Impossible 7.

The famed Hollywood action star and high-profile member of the Church of Scientology slammed several crew members who failed to respect the COVID-19 safety measures.

Mr. Cruise’s expletive-filled outburst went viral, and it reached Remini’s ears, who decided to react to it in a brutal manner via a lengthy letter.

The former Scientologist and actress did not mince her words in the message. Remini, who was a prominent member of the Church of Scientology from the ages of 9 to 43, described Cruise as “psychotic” and claimed that he was pulling another publicity stunt.

In the letter published by the blog, The Underground Bunker, Leah Remini called Tom Cruise “an abusive dictator,” and added: “Tom does not care about the families of his crew; this is all for publicity. Tom does not believe in family values. Hearing a rich actor with enormous power address his crew in this way is a sign of weakness and a deeply troubled person.”

Remini went on to drop an expletive while calling out the actor: “This is not just a rant of another a–hole actor. Tom Cruise pretending that he cares is why a few have called him out. They know this is a publicity stunt. The reality is, anyone who is working in Hollywood today is working under strict COVID guidelines. Anyone who is working knows this. Tom Cruise is not dictating how films are being made, even if he seems to think so.”

A fearless Remini made the bold move to go directly after the controversial church.

She said: “What more likely happened was, two crew members who were in the same zone were talking to each other, and Tom saw this as an opportunity to appear as the epitome of strength, of a leader who is taking this pandemic very seriously. This behavior is not normal or appropriate. No one can respond to his outburst without being fired. And again, this is not a pandemic that Tom and Scientology believe in.”

Remini’s decision to link Cruise’s behavior to the Church of Scientology received a fiery response.

A representative of the church said in a statement: “The Church of Scientology has done more than any other religious institution in promoting COVID-19 prevention actions–throughout the U.S. and worldwide. Long before “stay at home” directives, the Church took aggressive actions to prevent the spread of the virus. The Church’s leader acted well ahead of the curve. Remini is an unreliable source who attacks Scientology for publicity and money–as she herself has admitted.”

In the leaked audio recording that hit the Web in early December, Cruise lashed out at several employees who were standing too close together and therefore not abiding by the coronavirus guidelines on a film set in England.

Cruise yelled and said: “I’m on the phone with every f—ing studio at night, insurance companies, producers, and they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies. We are creating thousands of jobs, you motherf—ers.”

It is clear that Remini will not give up this fight.
