King Charles III is apparently making giant moves towards ending the bitter rift with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle if the latest report is correct.
On June 4th, Lilibet, the only daughter of Prince Harry and Markle, will celebrate her second birthday. The American-British princess is expected to enjoy a low-key birthday celebration with her family and friends.
Prince Harry and Markle had a simple child-friendly event with a small cake, balloons, and fun games for their son, Archie, who turned four, on May 6th.
Many predict that the Montecito royals will have a similar birthday party for little Lilibet. Reports claimed that King Charles had stepped in to make Lilibet’s birthday party extra special.
King Charles sends Lilibet a very royal birthday present
The young child will receive a very royal present from her grandfather, the King of England.
According to royal insiders who spoke to New Idea via Express, His Majesty has requested a cubby house for Lilibet.
King Charles wants Lilibet’s outdoor playhouse to look similar to the ones that Queen Elizabeth II had when she was a little girl.
One person said: “The King has had his aides looking at a custom-made cubby house, similar to what the Queen and Princess Margaret had when they were girls.”
The source added: “[Lilibet will] remember it forever — it’s going to be the ultimate surprise.”
According to experts, King Charles’s gift is ideal for his granddaughter so she can think creatively and solve problems.
Cubby houses are safe spaces for children around Lilibet’s age to “enjoy imaginative play and role play.”
Using her imagination, Lilibet can turn the cubbyhouse into a shop, courthouse, hospital, school, or castle.
A cubby house allows children to have conversations “with themselves and others to develop their language skills, socialize with playmates to develop care, empathy, and respect, and ultimately develop their sense of identity.”
The special delivery comes weeks after Lilibet was finally given the title of Princess by the monarchy.
Lilibet’s title bestowed before her birthday after the conversations with King Charles
Months before her birthday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their daughter would be using her title, Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor became Princess Lilibet of Sussex.
Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor is now referred to as Prince Archie of Sussex.
Prince Harry and Markle decided to announce their children’s title changes with a decisive statement after multiple conversations with King Charles and Buckingham Palace.
The couple said: “The children’s titles have been a birthright since their grandfather became monarch. This matter has been settled for some time in alignment with Buckingham Palace.”
King Charles was called out for dithering with Archie and Lilibet’s titles while rushing to give Prince William and Kate Middleton and their children theirs.
A Page Six source said: “After the Queen died, updates were made to the royal website. Despite their birthright, Archie and Lilibet were not given their titles. If the titles had just been updated, along with everyone else, there would be no story.”
The Royal Family’s website was eventually updated with Lilibet and Archie’s new titles.
OK reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “do not plan to use the titles in casual conversations or everyday life. It will only be used in formal situations.”
This arrangement should be enough for critics.
