Prince Harry is being boldly and loudly told that his father, King Charles III, is the alpha male in the Royal Family and that he will never be able to outshine or outplay him.
This week, Prince Harry scored a major win in court, or so he thought. Meghan Markle‘s husband received the positive news that his court case against News Group Newspapers (NGN) will go forward.
A judge ruled that Prince Harry’s case will go to trial in the High Court in 2024 while dismissing his phone-hacking claims.
That implied that Prince Harry would have the momentous occasion to take center stage next year by traveling to London, wearing an elegant Dior suit, and marching to court to testify against the media company.
Prince Harry would mostly drop a few major bombshells against King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton while in court. King Charles said, “Not so fast.”
The King pulled a dominant move that denied Prince Harry his big day in public court.
The King will counterattack Prince Harry’s court circus with a two-year tour where the Royal Family will be out in force to promote the institution that has been damaged by the Sussexes’ countless interviews and revelations.
A friend of the family told The Daily Beast that King Charles and the Royal Family are frustrated by what Prince Harry is going to unleash during his legal battles, but they will not be distracted by them.
Instead, they will focus on the launch of their busy and glitzy two years of global travel to try to “shore up the royal brand overseas.”
The source told the media outlet: “Everyone in the family completely accepts that Harry is a private citizen and can do what he likes without reference to the family. That doesn’t mean they have to like it. Of course, they are massively irritated by the prospect of more blockbuster Harry trials, but they have been expecting it; there is also the defamation case against the Mail, don’t forget. Their goal is just to keep plugging away and not get distracted by any of it.”
A friend of His Majesty told The Daily Beast that: “The king would not give a second’s thought to Harry’s litigation timetable when making his plans for overseas travel for the next two years. The trouble is, of course, that the rest of the world, not to mention the global news cycle, might not be quite so blasé.”
The Duke of Sussex is facing a determined opponent.
