Prince Harry is trying to fool himself with the idea that he is happy in California after fleeing the UK. Still, his angry interviews and constant finger-pointing prove that he is not, according to a royal expert.
While promoting his various projects, Prince Harry has been talking about mental health and taking the opportunity to make embarrassing revelations about the entire royal family, including Prince Charles, Queen Elizabeth II, and the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
In his most recent interview, on a podcast, Meghan Markle‘s husband claimed that he has been suffering through “generational pain” because of his father’s parenting skills.
Prince Harry also revealed that growing up in the royal family felt like being in a zoo. The Duke of Sussex appeared in the emotional trailer for his new mental health documentary for Apple, The Me You Can’t See, that features a brief footage of him as a child attending his mother, Princess Diana‘s funeral.
Talking to Closer magazine, Duncan Larcombe, author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story, said that he does not believe that Meghan Markle and her spouse are happy and found the freedom they longed for.
Even though the power couple has been screaming to the world that they are swimming in marital bliss.
The royal author said that Prince Harry and the former actress proved that they are not content with their lives because they spend their time feuding and criticizing the royal family.
The palace insider told the publication: “I believe that, despite Harry’s insistence that he’s happy, he’s far from it. I don’t think he or Meghan are happy. Content people don’t create arguments and criticize people – content people want to make amends.”
Larcombe advised Prince Harry to stop preaching about mental health because he is struggling with his own issues and causing the royal family pain while on his journey to healing.
He explained: “I don’t think Harry can preach about how to cope with mental health when he is clearly in the very midst of his mental-health journey and causing pain to his own family.”
According to the royal expert, the anger and pain that Prince Harry often speaks about stem from the traumatic loss of his mother.
Larcombe claimed that the new California resident will never truly find inner happiness and peace until he seeks the proper help and resolves his issues.
He believes that the former soldier is on a warpath, and he has identified the royal family, including Prince Charles and his grandparents, as the enemies.
Larcombe stated: “The cause of all his anger and sadness was never the royals – it was the trauma from his mum dying when he was a child. That’s where the issue lies – I don’t think he’ll be truly happy until he works through that. He has now made the royals and the institution his enemies because of that – he’s on the warpath.”
The royal commentator shared: “I think what we see and hear from these interviews is a man who is desperately trying to convince himself that he has found happiness, and he has been through it all and reached the other side – that he’s finally free. I don’t think that’s the case. He and Meghan aren’t happy or free. I don’t think his move to LA has solved anything.”
Prince Harry’s war with the royal family has only begun. Many are bracing for the episode of The Me You Can’t See, where Prince Harry is set to drop more “truth bombs” about his challenges and the pain he struggled with as a royal who had to bury his mother at such a young age.
A source told Page Six: “One of the episodes is very personal … deeply.” Prince Harry might be preaching peace, but some observers say his actions tell a different story.
