There is currently an endless war taking place between Drake and Halle Berry over a photo. The drama began after the Canadian rapper released the cover art for his latest song entitled “Slime You Out” featuring SZA.

The rapper selected a photo of Halle Berry with green slime on her face and all over her body. The photo was taken at the 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards, where winners and presenters get slime poured over them.

A fan took to social media to ask the Oscar-winning actress her thoughts on the picture, and she did not hold back. Halle Berry made it clear that she disapproves of it.

Berry wrote: “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy … even if you’re a woman![Drake] didn’t get my permission. That’s not cool. I thought better of him!”

When asked if she has plans to sue Drake, she said that she will not sue a member of her community.

The mother of two shared: “I’m not interested in suing my people, I just wish these men out here would give women the respect we deserve.”

Halle Berry also explained that Drake’s team contacted her for permission to use the photo, and she explicitly said no, but he decided to use it anyway.

The filmmaker went on to share her sentiments on the matter, saying that she feels disrespected.

Berry claimed: “Cuz he asked me and I said NO that’s why. Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do? That was the f—k you to me. Not cool You get it?.”

Berry is also unhappy about the meaning behind the song. Slime You Out means using someone for sexual favors and then dumping them.

Drake, who seems to be enjoying the massive publicity surrounding the drama, took to his Instagram Story to ask Halle Berry one question: “What in the hell is going on?”

The MC posted a photo of himself with his back to the camera in a T-shirt that read, “What the hell is going on?” The rapper captioned the image: “literally tho…”

Meanwhile, SZA has decided to remain quiet and watch the drama unfold. Many took to social media to slam Drake for being a villain and rude.

One fan said: “She really shouldn’t have to explain why she doesn’t want HER PHOTO used without HER permission.”

Another commenter had the following to say: “Damm, she said she was not interested in suing her people; she just wanted respect. She said with a mouthful. Just respect us!!”

This follower bashed the star by writing: “I expect this from him. Drake has repeatedly shown us that he’s a cornball who doesn’t like or respect women in general.”

Drake seems not ready to back down on this one despite the bad publicity.
