Donald Trump is mainly known for being a fighter in every sense of the word. The real estate mogul goes after anyone he deems an adversary to bring them to heel.
He has broken many of his political opponents, the media, and the justice system. However, it has recently been revealed that the former president might have picked a battle that he will never win. Actually, he has already lost.
Believe it or not, Trump is duking out against his child if the reporting from journalist Michael Wolff is accurate.
In an interview with Lawrence O’Donnell, the columnist and contributor to USA Today claimed that Trump is feuding with Barron Trump because he is taller than him.
The reporter, who is also the author of the 2019 book Siege: Trump Under Fire, claimed that Trump is so angry over the height issue that he refuses to stand next to Barron Trump for photos.
Since Barron Trump overtook his father, he no longer poses directly next to the former president. In all recent pictures, Melania Trump stands in the middle of her husband and her son.
However, it is more than obvious that Barron towers over his father and mother. O’Donnell said: “You also report the incredibly peculiar detail that Donald Trump is reportedly jealous of his son’s height because at 12 years old he’s growing up.”
Wolff responded by saying: “He’s jealous of everyone’s height. He never lets himself be in a photograph with someone taller than he is. Height is his — is one of his techniques. He uses his height — and, remember, Donald Trump is a very large man.”
According to Michael Wolff, Trump is not very close to the 17-year-old high school student, who has apparently bonded with Melania Trump’s parents.
In a recent interview, Donald Trump briefly mentioned Barron Trump to talk about the obvious: “he is really tall.”
The former reality star told Megyn Kelly: “Barron’s very tall—about six-eight. And he’s a good kid. He’s a good-looking kid. He’s a great student, very good student. Melania and I are looking at the possibility of Barron attending the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.”
PEOPLE Magazine has also confirmed that Melania Trump is heavily involved in her son’s life. The former first lady has visited several schools with her son as he gets ready to make the life-changing decision.
The former president is leading in the polls for the nomination of his party.
