Prince Harry and his spouse, former actress Meghan Markle, have discovered, according to one royal expert, that they can no longer keep secrets from their son, Archie.
In the spring of 2023, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that their young children, Archie and Lilibet, were finally giving their birth titles.
After months of going back and forth with King Charles III, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that their children were officially Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The Montecito royals also explained that they do not take the titles lightly and that they would only be used on certain occasions.
Archie is only 4 years old, and Lilibet is 2, so it is possible to believe that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have yet to disclose that big piece of their identities to them.
However, there is the internet, and young children talk, and according to royal commentator Neil Sean, the secret is out of the bag.
The former Fox News writer claimed that another child has told Archie that he is royalty and holds the title of prince.
The journalist explained: “The bottom line is that now, according to that very well-placed source, Prince Archie knows this that he is a prince; that’s right, it didn’t come from his family, according to this very well-placed source. It came quite literally from someone in his play groups.”
According to the veteran commentator, Prince Archie’s discovery will certainly lead to many questions. The little boy will be wondering why he has that title — what does it imply?
The journalist added: “The bottom line is that this is going to be very difficult for Megan and Harry because, as the child gets older, he’s going to wonder why he has the title Prince, or indeed, why, um, do you know his sister Lily has the title Princess?”
It will also lead to complex and heartbreaking inquiries about his Royal Family, including his grandfather, King Charles III, his uncle, Prince William, and his cousins.
The royal watcher shared: “How are they going to square that with them moving forward all about a family that is quite literally a ruling family at the very heart of the Commonwealth and its points to the rest of the world? Let’s not forget that his grandfather is King Charles. You know, Queen Camila. It’s going to be very strange, but at this point, there’s no getting around it. Prince Archie knows, quite frankly, that he is a prince.”
Prince Archie’s discovery of the truth puts his parents in a unique position. The expert claimed: “He may only be young, but they start young at this point, and no doubt they will be asking a lot more leading questions. It remains to be seen exactly how Megan and Harry performed this rather difficult maneuver.”
