This Is How Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Enjoy The Upsides Of Their Royal Status Without The Inconveniences

Meghan Markle Prince Harry Royal Status

If the reports circulating online have any legs, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are getting paid large sums of money for speaking engagements.

The pair abruptly left London after stepping down from their royal duties in early 2020. After a brief stay in Canada, they settled on a $14 million home in California.

The parents of baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor have been able to live lavishly thanks to a massive Netflix deal and paid speeches that are done virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to an expert in branding, the very part of their lives that they dislike and have been running away from is what makes them bankable.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex‘s worth is tied to the fact that they are part of the British royal family.

Brand and reputation management expert Eric Schiffer revealed that Harry and his wife would not interest any organization or company without their titles.

They would fail to captivate the media and attract the masses with their every move and comments.

Schiffer explained: “If neither of them had royalty ties, there would be zero interest. And they get a premium because they have now created a tie with Hollywood. As a couple, I think we could see a low-to-medium level six figures for speaking engagements.”

He revealed that Meghan and Harry’s value as a brand is tied to the fact that they are a couple. He also noted that Harry has more value because he has royal blood.

He went on to explain: “Their value is collective. The power is in the couple. It’s not in the individuals. In either of the individuals [as paid speakers], the value is decimated. But Harry would always have more value because of where he comes from. It’s amplified significantly because of the royal heritage.”

Since joining the speaking circuit, Meghan, in particular, has been vocal on a wide range of topics, including women’s rights, the Black Lives Matter movement, the failure of the Commonwealth to address racism, mental health, and the importance of the 2020 election.

Meghan, who is not a fan of President Donal Trump, said: “Every four years, we are told the same thing—that this is the most important election of our lifetime. But this one is. When we vote, our values are put into action, and our voices are heard. Your voice is a reminder that you matter because you do, and you deserve to be heard.”

The power couple is reportedly determined to take their brand higher.
