Believe it or not, King Charles III has put the drama, pain, and humiliation aside and has reconnected with his youngest son, Prince Harry.
His Majesty has spoken to his son and daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle, several times in the past few months, and they are now making plans to meet in Scotland soon.
A source told In Touch via Yahoo: “Charles has invited the kids to spend time with him at Balmoral. He’s hated not being able to see and connect with his grandchildren over the past few years.”
The forgiveness and reunion all happened fast, and Prince William was blindsided by it all. The heir to the throne and His Majesty are not on the same page at all.
Prince William has no plans to forgive his brother and Markle anytime soon. Prince Harry told the world that the future King assaulted him numerous times; he mocked his disappearing hairline and called Kate Middleton cold and aloof.
Prince William has decided there is no coming back after these painful and humiliating revelations. Furthermore, Prince William cannot trust Prince Harry.
An insider said Prince William had a very predictable reaction to the peace treaty between his father and brother.
The insider said: “He’s furious. His brother has caused so much drama for the royals that when William heard Harry and Charles were talking again, he told his father, ‘It’s Harry or me. And Charles chose Harry. Now William can’t help but feel betrayed.”
Prince William has warned his father that it is a matter of time before Prince Harry breaks his heart again, but His Majesty has thrown caution to the wind and has fully embraced the former soldier.
The source stated: “William warned his father that it’s only a matter of time before Harry betrays the family again. It seemingly fell on deaf ears, though.”
According to the royal source, Prince William responded by giving his father the silent treatment and by canceling some appearances.
The source added: “The insider claims William has responded to his father and brother’s unexpected reunion by canceling upcoming official appearances. As of now, he refuses to show up. He’s also giving Charles the silent treatment as a kind of revenge. There’s a lot of tension between them at the moment.”
It seems that King Charles cannot have his cake and eat it too because his two sons will not be giving him the happy reunion he is hoping for, not for now anyway.
It’s simple really if Charles still wants harry after everything he and his wife have done to the royal family and the british public then he should resign as the king of England and hand the throne over to William because at least he thinks about what has happened and really loves his country and would not do anything to damage it or the faithful members of the royal family and the great british public
