Meghan Markle is raw and loud with her reaction to the latest self-made scandal. Last week, Meghan Markle, with the help of Prince Harry, decided to shake up the internet and rattle a few feathers in the British monarchy.
The Duchess of Sussex shared an Instagram video of herself twerking, dancing, and lifting her dress while in a hospital room, preparing to give birth to her daughter, Lilibet. Of course, the clip went viral.
And, of course, it created a tsunami of backlash. Royal experts called it cringeworthy and inappropriate.
Sources told The Daily Mail that some members of the Royal Family were shocked and called Prince Harry> and Markle’s decision to publish such an intimate moment “tragic.”
Many royalists demand that King Charles III remove Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s titles for their despicable, crude, and unroyal move to once more embarrass themselves and the monarchy.
Markle wants the world to know that she is thrilled beyond measure by the success of the video, which has garnered almost 30 million views. The Duchess Of Sussex wanted to grab headlines and be in the conversation.
Markle is also thrilled that she has accomplished her goal of connecting with the younger generation, who have the buying power to help her build her empire with As Ever and With Love, Meghan.
A person close to the Sussexes said: “Meghan is very pleased with the video. In the UK, everyone’s reaction has been a bit prudish, but everywhere else, particularly in America and especially with young people, it has been a huge hit.”
Building on this momentum, Meghan Markle has announced plans to expand her business with the upcoming launch of an As Ever line of rosé wines.
Further down the line, Markle is jumping into the hospitality services with As Ever hotels and restaurants. The source added: “She and her team count it [the video] as a “win,” which can only be a boost for sales. Her new products are marketed at Americans and not at the UK market.”
The source close to the former actress, who spoke to The Mail, revealed that she could care less about what prudish British haters think of her video.
Markle made it clear she was never aiming for the British public with her “hilarious and relatable video.” A source concluded by saying: ‘Meghan doesn’t care about the haters in Britain calling her vulgar. Americans thought the twerking video was hilarious and relatable.’
Eric Schiffer of Reputation Management Consultants told The Mail that Markle is right to bet on the American market because by electing Donald Trump twice, it shows they love a chaotic soap opera.
He continued: “Meghan wants to connect with Gen Z, which demands viral moments. She doesn’t care about the UK because that’s not where the money is. Brits have certain standards they expect of royalty. Americans don’t care. To us, it’s a soap opera.”
Another reason the scandal does not at all rattle Marke — she knows King Charles is bothered by any of this; she is old enough to remember his leaked telephone conversation with Queen Camilla, which revealed he is far from being a prude.
Markle’s team has one more argument to celebrate the viral moment — at least she is not selling the royal secrets for money.
