Kate Middleton Boldly Calls Out The Hypocrites Who Amplified The Photo Scandal

A brave Kate Middleton sat on a bench in front of BBC cameras to share with millions that she had been diagnosed with cancer.

However, that was not the only battle she was fighting. For more than 70 days, she faced brutal and ugly conspiracy theories about her health and whereabouts.

She was recently ridiculed over an imaginary affair that her husband, Prince William, was having with her friend and neighbor, Rose Hanbury.

However, her biggest hurdle stemmed from a disastrous Mother’s Day photo that was poorly edited. Middleton and Prince William naively issued the wholesome picture in the hopes of spreading some cheers, according to their close friends and staff members.

But that is not what happened. The family portrait was picked apart by the media and internet trolls. The situation went from bad to worse when almost all major and respected media agencies issued a “kill order” for the photo.

It has been revealed by The Times that Kate Middleton was “devastated by the furor,” prompted by several picture agencies, including Getty, AP, and AFP, issuing “kill notices for the image over manipulation that did not meet their standards.”

A sick and drained Kate Middleton decided to own her mistake and issued an apology. However, the press kept hounding her for manipulating the picture.

Middleton was dealt a major blow by CNN, which decided to review all the previous photos issued by the future Queen and heir to the throne.

The Telegraph reported: “CNN said that, like most news organizations, they “regard it as unacceptable to move, change, or manipulate the pixels of an image” as it would alter the reality of the situation the image is intended to document.”

CNN issued a statement saying: “CNN is now reviewing all handout photos previously provided by Kensington Palace.”

So how does Kate Middleton feel about these brutal and public punishments? She called them hypocrites.

A friend and adviser to the couple revealed to The Times: “If you want to call out the mistake, it was Kate not telling her team that she’d done it [edited the photo]. But she came out and said sorry. The photo was a misstep, even with something as innocent as that, you should disclose altering it. But in the history of image-cropping and photo-altering to tell a story, a lot of the reaction from picture agencies was hypocritical.”

Another pal of the mother of three went on to tell the publication that Middleton is fighting a disease after having a major surgery; therefore, it is time for the picture agencies to cut her some slacks and stop expecting glossy photos.

The frustrated insider claimed: “Why should she? Truly, I don’t get it. In what other circumstance would a woman take sick leave after a major operation, and instead of being allowed to recover, she’s supposed to pose for pictures?”

Observers expect the media to give Princess Kate more leeway moving forward.
