Since King Charles III and Kate Middleton announced to the world that they are battling cancer, there have been a lot of conversations and rumors about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle taking a drastic decision with their lives.
According to multiple royal sources and Prince Harry’s surprising Good Morning America interview in Canada, he wants to return to the UK as soon as possible.
The former soldier confessed that he was rattled by his father’s cancer diagnosis, which is why he rushed to London to be by his side.
Without hesitation, Prince Harry stated that he would be returning to his native country as often as possible. Prince Harry hinted at future visits, saying: “So my family and my life in California are as it is. I have got other trips planned.”
While he did prove that he was concerned for his father by dashing to London and returning to California in less than 24 hours, Prince Harry has yet to confirm another trip.
Reports have claimed that it is Prince Harry’s dream to go back and forth between England and California. He would love to spend more time with his father and possibly reconcile with his brother, Prince William.
He hopes that his two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their British roots.
A source, who spoke to New magazine, revealed: “Harry would love for Archie and Lilibet to have a better relationship with their cousins or even the children of some of his friends.”
The person in the know added: “He feels like they have been away from the UK for far too long and wants to start building a life here. Not full-time, but a second home they can visit regularly.”
Royal correspondent Charles Rae told The Sun that Prince Harry’s dream of visiting his family as often as possible may be dashed by his wife, Meghan Markle, who has other plans.
The royal commentator shared: “I’m of the opinion that Megan won’t set foot in the UK ever again. I just don’t think she wants her to have anything to do at all with this country.”
Some experts believe that Markle is determined to stay away from British soil because of security issues. Others claim that she is fearful of the backlash caused by her incendiary interview; and a handful say that she feels unwelcomed by some comments by the Royal Family, including a passionate conversation between Prince Harry, King Charles, and Prince William before the big royal wedding.
According to the book Our King by author Robert Jobson via The Mirror, “there was a particularly shocking episode that left Prince Harry seething.”
The author revealed that Prince Harry was surprised by Prince William’s reaction to his decision to marry Meghan Markle.
The writer shared: “During a pre-wedding meeting involving both princes and Charles, Harry planned to inform his father of his intentions to marry Meghan. However, William had already spilled the beans. When Harry proceeded to tell Charles, William interjected with a cautionary, “Are you sure, Harold? “.
During the heated exchange, King Charles dropped the news that he could not financially take care of Markle. The royal biographer revealed: “The real bombshell came when Charles expressed to his younger son that he might not be able to financially support Meghan alongside his responsibilities to Camilla, William, Catherine, and their children in the future. Charles is thought to have indicated he couldn’t afford to pay for Meghan in the future. This revelation is said to have left Harry infuriated.”
It was revealed that Prince Harry felt insulted, according to Jobson who explained that he felt that his brother, William, disapproved of “Meghan and their relationship as a whirlwind affair.”
The two sides are not getting back together in the near future.
