Meghan Markle is often hit with unflattering rumors about her marriage from the outside world.
However, this week, the former actress has opened the door to speculation about her relationship with Prince Harry.
Markle and Prince Harry appeared on CBS for an interview about their latest program, which deals with mental health.
The conversation was supposed to center on children being bullied online, but at some point, it became about Markle’s experience as a working royal family member.
It was a deep and personal conversation between Markle and CBS journalist Jane Pauley, who seemed to have forgotten that Prince Harry was in the room.
According to one royal expert who watched the interview, Markle sent signals that she now stands alone. Apparently, Markle positioned her chair during the interview to reveal that she also sits alone.
As noted by experts, her body language indicated that the pair are no longer a package deal. The relationship has transitioned into something else, with each individual asserting their independence and identity away from the other one.
Speaking to The Mirror, Judi James revealed that Markle and Prince Harry “sit further apart than normal” to highlight their individuality.
She added: “Meghan‘s signals during this clip suggest she’s taking the lead here, using a blend of celebrity charm and concern to create a relationship with their interviewer, making careful segues between their home life and their campaign. She has her arm out as though possibly breaching the gap between herself and Harry by placing her hand on his thigh, although the picture cuts before we can see where the hand lands.”
She went on to say: “Her engagement with the interviewer is as powerful as Harry’s disengagement signals at the start of this clip while the two women speak. We see him in the clip gazing off into the distance with a serious facial expression while his wife tells a much more sociable and emotional story.”
Angela Levin joined the conversation about Prince Harry and Markle’s interaction during the interview to say that things are not peachy in that Montecito orchard.
The royal expert said: “Just the same as in and out of the interview, she couldn’t stand Harry speaking. She would look at him with such harsh eyes and such a terrible expression on her face because she didn’t want him to talk, I imagine. He is really lost at the moment… I think that he’s in a very, very bad way.”
Time will tell if this new chatter has legs.
