The rise of Meghan Markle to a member of the British royal family and one of the most famous celebrities has been followed closely by many of her fans.
And it seems like Markle knew exactly what she was doing most of the time, as reports indicate that she might have gone through a lot of effort to set up a large number of shots with paparazzi to boost her image.
One year before she started dating Prince Harry, Markle made sure the photographers were present as she entered Toto’s restaurant in London.
The television star called the paparazzi during her time acting in Suits, the TV show that shot her to the top of her stardom and really pushed her acting career forward.
And while many seemed to believe that she was genuinely being chased by a large number of photographers with cameras back then, rumors are now claiming that this might have been completely deliberate, and a large portion of that might have actually been set up specifically to boost her image for the royal family, and to improve her chances of getting in.
A source revealed to The Sun: “Meghan knew the photographer was going to be at the Kensington restaurant to take her photos of her arrival. It was all pre-arranged. For someone who wasn’t very well known in the UK at that point, she certainly didn’t question why a photographer would randomly turn up to take her picture.”
The bombshell biography Finding Freedom confirmed that the American star did set up the paparazzi pictures.

The authors wrote: “It was no longer just the two of them. While Meghan, before she met Harry, had occasionally set up a paparazzi photo here and there or let info slip out to the press, she did everything in her power to protect the privacy of her relationship with the prince. She knew keeping things quiet meant they could get to know each other without pressure or further worries that came from reporters covering their romance. But there was also a part of her that was relieved.”
How much of that is true is hard to tell, but royal fans say it is still an interesting potential glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes of the royal family, and how much effort its different members might be putting into staying relevant.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s father, Thomas Markle, who lives for the media’s attention, slammed his daughter for being a hypocrite for fake paparazzi photos.
Thomas said: “Apparently, Meghan has made deals with the paparazzi. She planned it.”
Meghan is so popular right now that experts do not believe that her image will be affected by this revelation.
