Kate Middleton Was Struggling And Turned To Queen Elizabeth For Help

Kate Middleton Queen Elizabeth II Motherhood

It is no secret that Queen Elizabeth II approves of having Kate Middleton in her family. The two women became very close throughout the years since Catherine married her grandson, Prince William.

New reports revealed that back when the Duchess of Cambridge became a mother for the first time, she even asked the monarch for advice and opened up about how hard it was for her to maintain her royal engagements while taking care of her firstborn, Prince George.

According to royal commentator Katie Nicholl, the relationship between the Duchess of Cambridge and Her Majesty was exceptional.

The women had a private conversation in Sandringham, and they discussed the hardships of being a mother for the first time.

Catherine admitted to the Queen that she struggled to look after her son without a full-time nanny or a maternity nurse.

Initially, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were trying to handle things on their own, but they quickly realized their system was not fully functional.

Nicholl said, according to The Mirror: “Kate was having a conversation with the Queen in which she confided that she had found being with George on her own, and not having a full-time nanny or a maternity nurse, very hard. William and Kate wanted to be hands-on parents, and they did it until September, and then they recruited a nanny.”

However, Kate was not left without any support, as reportedly, her mother, Carole Middleton, tried to be there as much as possible for her daughter and was a great help with the kids.

The royal expert went on to say: “Carol is a regular through those golden gates at Kensington Palace, and she whizzes through in her Land Rover. One of the things that allow William and Kate to be so ordinary is the Middletons’ presence in their lives.”

Nicholl also claimed that it was because of Kate’s parents that she and Prince William were such down-to-earth people, thanks to the Middletons and their crew that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also successful as parents.

She explained: “There is no security because everybody knows her. She turns up to help with bedtime and bath time. She is absolutely indispensable.”

Kate, who is said to be pregnant with royal baby number four, has her mom and the Queen to rely on. Fans of the royal family are hoping that an announcement will come through soon.
