Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise seems to be a creature of habit, as he gifts the same cake to some of his celebrity friends each Christmas.
Many people delight in the traditional fruitcakes and Christmas puddings that show up on the shelves every winter, but for Cruise, it is a delicious white chocolate coconut cake that wins the top spot.
And the friends who receive them are not shy about sharing it on their social media and bragging about how good the “pillowy” coconut cake tastes.
Doan’s Bakery in Woodland Hills is the lucky business gaining the actor’s custom each year. While other A-listers are fans of the delicacy, this particular coconut cake has become known as the Tom Cruise Coconut Cake.

Doan’s Bakery has been serving cakes for more than 25 years in Los Angeles and has become a popular favorite with celebrities.
Kirsten Dunst is one of the celebrities to receive a cake each year, despite not working with Mr. Cruise since 1994.
She certainly seems to share Cruise’s high opinion of the cake — in 2016, Dunst said it was the best coconut cake ever, lasting less than a day in her house.
Dunst confessed: “(Tom) sends me a cake every Christmas. It gets eaten within a day in my house. It’s the best coconut cake I’ve ever had in my life.”
Jimmy Fallon, Henry Cavill, and Rosie O’Donnell are also among the lucky celebrities to receive a Cruise’s tasty Coconut Cake at Christmas, but it does not stop at the big names.

He has also gifted the cakes to a number of people working backstage on TV shows and news outlets. Christmas has really arrived when a delicious cake from Cruise shows up on set!
Recently, the popular action star has been in the news after his 27-year old daughter, Bella Kidman Cruise — who prefers to live a quiet life without media attention — turned down the opportunity to live in his luxury London penthouse, which costs almost $500,000 per month.
A source said that Cruise hoped to convince his oldest daughter with these amenities: “Tom has a dedicated team of staff to look after his every whim, where he can call for room service from the Corinthia’s in-house restaurants such as Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge’s Bar & Grill.”
Bella, who chose to lead a quiet life with her spouse in London, will most likely get one of her father’s famous cakes for the holidays.
