Yazmin Oukhellou has received massive backlash from followers after jetting off to Dubai and spending time on the beach amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The model and influencer, who found fame on the UK TV series The Only Way is Essex, flaunted her curvaceous figure while wearing a white bikini with a classic gold chain strap detail.
She showed off a golden tan as her long black hair fell casually around her shoulders and her makeup was highlighted under the sunshine.
Oukhellou traveled from Essex — one of the areas currently under the toughest coronavirus restrictions in England — with her boyfriend, James Lock.
The couple shared last month that they moved in together during lockdown earlier this year. Essex is currently in Tier 4 in England, which instructs people to “stay at home” and avoid unnecessary social mixing and activity.
Furthermore, people in the U.K. are restricted from traveling outside of the country unless it is for business.
Yazmin Oukhellou shared a few steamy photos and later appeared on her Instagram story to explain to followers why she and her boyfriend were spending Christmas in Dubai.
She told fans that the trip is for business as she plans to launch something “very exciting” in the New Year, which is why the couple had to travel to Dubai and get everything set up.
She confessed: “Just so those of you know, James and I have come to Dubai because I am launching something very exciting here in the New Year, so I’ve had to come now to get everything set up, and we will be keeping you posted. So we are here for work purposes, for business. Obviously we’ll make the most of it while we’re here as well. But we are here for business purposes.”
A fan lashed out by stating: “Maybe sense the tone of the current climate and not post so much of your ‘work’ trip abroad……”
Another angry backer chimed in to say: “Wish I could jet off to Dubai during a pandemic and say it’s “work” selfish isn’t the word for people like this, hopefully someday soon all these Z list celebrities will be irrelevant and the bubble will burst.”
This person wrote: “So wrong celebrities going on holiday when there people Poorly with covid most of England in tier 4 celebrities should get fine ??”
And Oukhellou is not the only celebrity being slated recently for escaping restrictions in the U.K. to spend the winter in Dubai.
The United Arab Emirates is one of the very few countries that currently do not require people from the U.K. to quarantine on arrival. Visitors must show a negative PCR test or undertake a test at the airport.
There is also currently a travel corridor between the UAE and the U.K. to prevent those returning home from having to quarantine for ten days.
