According to a royal expert, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were so protective of their son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, that around the time of his birth, many royal aides were brought to “tears of frustration and despair.”

When Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born on May 6, 2019, many fans of the British royal family were surprised that the Sussexes did not reveal the birth location of their child.
The Daily Mail‘s Rebecca English stated that as a new father, Prince Harry became “morbidly obsessed” with keeping the information completely private.
The royal insider shared: “Behind the scenes, matters were so fraught that more than one official — as I know from personal experience — was reduced to tears of frustration and despair.”
The power couple was not so open about their private life as were Prince Charles and Princess Diana or the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, (Prince William and Catherine Middleton).
In addition, a change made to Archie’s birth certificate made headlines recently, as it was announced that the document was altered one month after the grandson of Prince Charles was born.
Apparently, initially, the birth certificate stated that the mother of the child was “Rachel Meghan,” but it was later changed to “Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex.”
The alteration caused quite a dispute because the Sussexes insisted that it was not them who changed the certificate as they stated, “This was not requested by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex nor by The Duke of Sussex” and hinted that officials from Buckingham Palace were responsible for the controversial styling.
However, according to some royal insiders, it was Meghan who was responsible for the alteration of the document because she wanted “to fall in line with amendments she’d already made to her passport,” and she requested from her aides to apply the change.
Meanwhile, an insider from Buckingham Palace shared, “The birth certificate is a civic document, so there are options on how it is filled out.”
The language used suggesting it was “the Palace” who “dictated it is somewhat unfortunate, as it certainly wasn’t addressed like that.”
After leaving the royal family, the pair is now engaged in an epic PR fight with the Queen and her proxies.
