Prince William Had This Petty Reaction After He Was Told That He Almost Ruined This Photo With Kate Middleton

Prince William Kate Middleton Photoshoot Joke

A minor miscommunication may have led to an awkward scene during the Christmas celebrations of Prince William and Kate Middleton during a trip to Cyprus.

Photographer Ian Vogler recently appeared on an episode of the popular podcast Pod Save the Queen to discuss his experience photographing the royal family.

He also shared a few interesting details about the surprising incident between him and the heir to the throne during a photo op with military personnel.

According to Vogler, who worked at the event, he tried to get Prince William out of the way so he could get a clearer shot of the scene.

Vogler revealed that it was necessary for the Duke of Cambridge to get out of the way. Otherwise, he would have “ruined” the pictures.

While photographers do not usually speak to members of the British royal family, Vogler was forced to tell the future king of Great Britain to move out of the way.

Nevertheless, the Prince apparently misunderstood the intent and jokingly said the following: “My wife’s camouflaged against the tree. Do you want me to move out of the photo?” He went on to say: “I just go.”

Vogler responded to Prince William by saying: “No, I meant the Christmas tree.” And Prince William, who finally understood what was going replied: “Oh, I didn’t see that.”

During the interview, Vogler indicated that part of the issue could stem from the unusual relationship that royal family members traditionally have with the photographers working at their events.

Apparently, it is not commonplace for conversations to happen on this level at all, and it is possible that Prince William was just taken by surprise at the moment.

However, it is still occasionally necessary to get people to move out of the way or arrange for a particular shot, according to additional reports — so it is not clear what Prince William’s expectations about the situation were.

Vogler went on to say: “We don’t do that; that just doesn’t happen, but he did not seem to understand. We are there, but they don’t want us to interrupt. They want us to speak to them. We are just there to record the event, and that’s it.”

While the awkward situation is well in the past, royal fans were delighted to get the back story. Vogler revealed that the young family members, including Prince Goerge and his siblings, understood that they need to be photographed.

Vogler shared that Prince Philip hated having his photo taken and once said, “just f***ing take it.”

Vogler also confessed that another bizarre moment with the Cambridges occurred when they were in Scandinavia, and a local photographer asked if he could speak to them and was promptly escorted out of the premises for breaking protocols.
