The caption for the post read: “Mommy’s out.” Bar Refaeli is flaunting her modeling capacity as she goes through a PR nightmare.

About one year ago, Bar Refaeli and her mother and her agent, Tzipi Refaeli, faced significant legal problems after being accused of concealing millions of dollars in annual income.

Bar Refaeli attempted to clean up the mess by saying that she did not need to report the income because she was not living in Isreal full time.

The authorities slapped down her reasoning, and she took a plea deal, was sentenced to 9 months of community service, and was ordered to pay a fine of $720,000, as well as repaying back taxes of $2.3 million.

Her mother received a much harsher punishment. She was jailed for 16 months and also fined.

While behind bars, Tzipi Refaeli faced a health scare. She contracted COVID-19 and her attorney pushed for her early release because she needed to be hospitalized.

Her cardiologist Yehuda Adler stated at the time that said: “The chief physician at the Israel Prison Service ignores my inquiries and did not even bother to send me her heart echo on the grounds that there was no change in her condition. However, when the document reached my family members, it became clear that her condition had indeed worsened in a life-threatening manner. This is a scandal in medical care and criminal neglect.”

She was eventually released after being in prison for eight months and was ordered to take part in a rehabilitation program.
