Maitland Ward is famous on two fronts — she initially rose to prominence through her work on Boy Meets World, in which she played the seductive Rachel McGuire, and ended up doing a lot of porn afterward, drawing even more attention to herself.
And according to Ward, it looks like the adult entertainment industry is more lucrative than most people give it credit for.
The White Chicks actress claims that she does not want to look back on her Disney acting because her adult career has been much more lucrative and has brought more to the table for her. She made $62,000 for her best month in 2018, with just her OnlyFans account.
She stated: “When people say, ‘She had to turn to porn,’ I laugh because this is a good thing and I’m making more now. If you talked to my younger, more virginal soap-opera self, I never would have seen this coming out of me.”
She also claims to find the statements that she was “forced” to go into porn ridiculous and laughable, and was having a lot of fun with them.
According to Ward, her decision to enter the adult world has been her own entirely, and she did not feel any pressure to act in pornographic films.
It is still not clear why she chose this exact path in the first place, though. She does seem to be doing well in her career so far, so perhaps she knew what she was doing in the end.
Ward has made it clear that she has no intention of ever looking back at her old life, and will be looking forward to her new developments.
Whether she will continue working in porn or look into an alternative career is hard to tell, but the actress has shown a great desire to keep her current work so far.

A sarcastic voice replied: “Wikipedia has your relationship status as married. Did the relationship survive the career change?”
A critic hit back with: “She was probably screwing everyone to keep her status in Hollywood anyway. ??.”
At 42, the Long Beach, California native is married to real estate agent Terry Baxter. They tied the knot in October 2006.
