Angelina Jolie’s Daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, Puts Her Own Spin On Dress Worn By Her Mother Years Ago — Photos Confirm Her Star Turn

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, the 15-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is getting a lot of attention as she continues to blossom.

The teenager has attended a few red carpet events with her mother in recent days, and one thing is clear, she is adopting a new style.

On Wednesday, she opted for a revamped version of a black and white dress her mom wore in 2019 at a press conference for the movie Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.

The UK premiere of Marvel’s Eternals at the BFI IMAX Waterloo in London was a family affair for the 46-year-old actress and humanitarian. Jolie plays Thena in the movie.

She was accompanied by daughters Zahara, 16, Vivienne, 13, and sons Maddox, 20, and Knox, 13.

However, Shiloh stole the show with an old Dior dress and put her own twist on it. The teen’s star turn did not begin this week.

Jolie encourages her daughters to take the outfits she previously wore from her closet. She told E! News: “I’m like, ‘Oh my god, wear it and wear it better than me! Take it; it’s your turn.”

The young lady sported a cream dress at the Los Angeles premiere of the same movie last week. In Rome, a few days later, she looked stunning in a black dress. The look was completed with a low bun and hoop earrings.

Ten years ago, things were different, and Shiloh wanted to be like her brothers and father. Jolie told Vanity Fair in 2011: “So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers. Shiloh, we feel, has Montenegro style. She dresses like a little dude. It’s how people dress there. She likes tracksuits; she likes [regular] suits.”

Mr. Pitt also told Oprah Winfrey around the same time: “She only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it’s a Peter Pan thing. So we’ve got to call her John. ‘Shi, do you want…’ ‘John. I’m John.’ And then I’ll say, ‘John, would you like some orange juice?’ And she goes, ‘No!’ So, you know, it’s just that kind of stuff that’s cute to parents, and it’s probably really obnoxious to other people.”

Jolie tried to protect her child by telling the media that it was not something really important. She said back then: “I don’t think it’s for the world to interpret anything. She likes to dress like a boy and wants her hair cut like a boy, and she wanted to be called John for a while. Some kids wear capes and want to be Superman, and she wants to be like her brothers. It’s who she is. It’s been a surprise to us, and it’s really interesting, but she’s so much more than that – she’s funny and sweet and pretty. But she does love a tie….”

Mothers know best, and she was right.
