Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went to England in early June to celebrate and participate in Queen Elizabeth II‘s Platinum Jubilee.

While the powerful pair introduced their daughter, Lilibet, to Her Majesty, who also spent some time with their son, Archie; Prince William and Kate Middleton avoided the California clan at all cost.
The heir to the British throne, his children, and his wife did not spend any time with Archie and Lilibet.
Due to their hectic schedule, Middleton and Prince William turned down an invitation to Lilibet’s birthday party.
During two major public events, Kate Middleton and her husband also avoided talking to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
According to sources close to Prince Harry and Markle, who spoke to Heat, they were hurt over the way they were treated by the Cambridges.
One royal insider claimed: “It was a kick in the teeth that the Cambridges didn’t attend. For Meghan, it just strengthened her resolve to not come back.”
However, that is not all, Markle and Prince Harry had to relive some of the major accusations that had the British media salivating.
According to the source, the royal renegades were hurt by the headlines claiming that they were using their ties to the royal family to gain fame and they would go the extra mile to secure a massive check.
The person familiar with the situation stated: “He tries not to read the negative things written about them, but there was no avoiding it. They’ve been accused of milking their fame and being money-hungry. There were plenty of cheers for them, too, but they know some of the public didn’t want them to come back for the Jubilee, and that was really hurtful.”
The insider stated that all the drama and painful accusations fortified Prince Harry and Markle’s decision not to return to London.
According to the insider, the trip pushed the Sussexes and Cambridges to come to the realization that they had no reconciliation plans for the near future.
The source concluded by: “It seemed clear that Kate had no interest in playing nice with Meghan. And sad as it is, William feels the same. The view is that the Sussexes were lucky to receive any type of goodwill after the damage and embarrassment they’ve caused the monarchy. Neither side looks likely to back down.”
