While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to remain silent about the events that might or might not have occurred in London out of respect for the late Queen Elizabeth II, Gayle King and Oprah Winfrey have decided to spill the tea to the media.
Prince Harry and Markle stayed in the UK for over two weeks for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral and the royal mourning period.
During those 14 days, sources close to Prince Harry, Markle, King Charles III, Prince William, and Kate Middleton have flooded the media with countless reports and stories about the private moments inside The Palace walls in London and Scotland.
Oddly enough, despite the fact that the reports and rumors were coming from very different sources, they all aligned to say the same thing — for the sake of Her Majesty‘s legacy, everyone put the drama, ego, and pain aside and gave the world a master class in family unity during a period of grief.
Gayle King, who has ties to Prince Harry and Markle and covered Queen Elizabeth’s funeral for CBS, decided to share the tidbits of information on the royal drama.
The co-host of CBS Mornings appeared to confirm the multiple rumors and reports that have surfaced that claimed that while efforts have been made on all sides, unfortunately, the unity is just a facade, and no real rapprochement has taken place.
Gayle King opened up about the rift that exists in the British royal family during an interview on Extra.
She said: “There have been efforts on both sides to sort of make this right. We shall see.”
She added: “It remains to be seen whether the rift will be mended. Are they going to be drawn closer together, or are they going to be drawn apart? I have no idea. I have no inside information on that, but I will tell you this: It was good to see Harry standing with his family.”
The world watched Prince William and Prince Harry make efforts for their grandmother as they were joined by their wives in front of Windsor to meet thousands of mourners.
It has been revealed that despite his busy schedule, King Charles was able to have an audience with Prince Harry and Markle.
However, many royal experts and royal insiders say no real progress will be made until Prince Harry publishes his tell-all book.
King Charles and Prince William would love to reconcile with Prince Harry, but they need to protect the future of the Monarchy against all scandalous accusations and damaging revelations.
