Jennifer Aniston is the cover girl of Allure‘s December issue. She took part in an intimate interview where she spoke her truths and destroyed the big lie spread about her in the past decade — she is selfish, does not want a child, and is consumed by her career.
For the first time, the Friends actress explained that she tried for many years to have a child with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, and was unable to because she suffered from fertility issues.
The revelation sent shockwaves because, for years, the media and some naysayers have been pushing the narrative that Aniston made a personal choice, like millions of other women, not to carry a baby.

A source close to Brad Pitt spoke to the media and explained that he is very supportive of his ex-wife’s decision to address the matter once and for all.
It was also revealed that Pitt has a profound respect for Aniston for talking about her struggles.
The person in the know stated: “Brad respects Jennifer’s decision to come clean about her struggles with infertility. The two of them have had their ups and downs, and they are very much friends today.”
During the interview, Jennifer Aniston confessed that she went through a difficult period of failed IVFs and using alternative medicine in the hopes of conceiving a child with Brad Pitt.
The businesswoman claimed: “I’d gone through really hard shit, and if it wasn’t for going through that, I would’ve never become who I was meant to be. I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road.”
Aniston went on to say that her only regret through this lengthy process was the fact that she never froze her eggs.
She stated: “I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese tea, you name it. I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.'”
The actress took the opportunity to blast the media for ruining her reputation while she secretly fought the battle to enter motherhood.
She stated: “I had a problem with the media and the ongoing narrative that I was just selfish. I just cared about my career. And God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have a child. And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn’t give him a kid. It was an absolute lie. I don’t have anything to hide at this point.”
She concluded by saying that she has accepted that she will never be a mom and is now ok with it.
Aniston and Pitt wed in 1998 and divorced in 2004 after he fell for Angelina Jolie.
The actress was also married to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017.
